It is a band that plays and sings with a reality born of part despair, part hope. The music is real, whether Chris Volz's plaintive song , ''Whole,'' (he is singer and lyricist) about his mother's suicide or the lead song, Payback, an agonizing cry of pain. Powerful singing and playing by a group that relies more on musicality than gimmicks.

This in an incredible album and I recommend it to anybody who likes hard rock. I bought it before I heard any songs on it because my friend said it was really good and I loved it. I would have seen them live with Sevendust, but you had to be 21 to get into the show, which I didn't know, and I am only 19. The lead singer sounds a lot like David Draiman from Disturbed. My favorite song on the CD is ''My Letter.''

Simply one of the most incredible albums in a while. Every aspect of this CD is incredible. A must-have album for any true music fans.

I bought this CD after hearing the above song on the excellent Scorpion King soundtrack. I am looking forward to seeing this band at Ozzfest. They kind of remind me of a mix of Linkin Park and Tool with a hard edge. There are a few very good songs on the album, and check out the hidden track! (piano version of Only the Strong)

I came across Flaw on the Scorpian King soundtrack and was in love with their sound. While some of their tracks and riffs come across as fairly repetative they still draw me in. The lead singers voice is very melodic and he can both scream and sing quite well, suprisingly so. I found myself more and more suprised by how the heavier the music is the more musical most of the artists are. Also Flaw has some of the best lyrics I've seen from a band in a LONG time. Their writing is superb and there is literally a song for every type of mood your in. I'd recommend this band to anyone...hopefully I'll get a chance to see them in concert!

Flaw is a brilliant band! Their album blends Metal and Melody into an energy-pumping whole (which is also the title of one of the depressing songs on this CD). I look foreward to future albums from them, even though this one is perfect alone.

This is a great cd and a great band. It's like melting great bands like disturbed and deftones with slipknot or MuDvaYnE and you get FLAW...amazing work on Whole, which i feel is the BEST song on the album. A must have.
