A Touching Story and a Book Filled with Encouraging Lessons Wow. I didn’t know what to expect from this book. I must admit that I was intrigued by the book’s title and pulled in by the beautiful, young face on the cover. But, as I read more and more of the book, I began to realize that this was more than a title and a pretty face. I began to hear Latonya’s voice, feel her pain and wish for her personal strength. It is clear to me that she was born with the faith and determination required to pull herself out of horrible circumstances... yet with the wisdom and completeness to value strained and stained relationships. I have ordered copies of the book for each of my three teen-aged daughters. Even though they have not suffered Latonya’s fate…I believe they will be strengthen by her resolve. This is one powerful book!
