The book is the latest in our "Modelling clay figures" series and it follows Solid Christmas Figures. It concentrates on building clay models based on thumb pot techniques. We plan to follow it by a third sister project book, on the same Christmas theme but in this book we will cover slab pot figures, the three books covering a wide range of essential pottery skills. In the introduction to this book we have again included details of the simple tools that we use and instructions on where to obtain them or how to make them.
