Overview

Time of Death: Eternity in Death; Ritual in Death; Missing in Death by J. D. Robb

#1 New York Times bestselling author J. D. Robb presents three In Death stories that spotlight Lieutenant Eve Dallas doing what she does best: solving crime with skill, integrity, and passion—together in one volume for the first time.

ETERNITY IN DEATH

A seductive killer is luring in victims with a promise of the impossible-immortality. Eve Dallas must strip away the fantasy to catch the coldhearted madman.

RITUAL IN DEATH

Eve is plunged into the violent aftermath of a ritualistic murder-and into the mind of an alleged witness who can't remember a thing to save his life.

MISSING IN DEATH

When a woman disappears from a New York City ferry, it's a case that only Eve Dallas can solve— because the woman didn't jump, and yet she's not on board.

If you own all of the books in the "In Death" series, do NOT buy this! It's not a new title, but a compilation of three already published titles that have already been released in her anthologies or as mini titles for $2.99. Unless you don't own them or any of the compilations (Eternity in Death is in "Dead of Night", Ritual in Death is in "Suite 606", and Missing in Death is in "Lost"), it's not worth it to someone who has the full collection of titles.

The free sample was 13pages of credits, no story, and why not be honest and say these are re releases?

I have read these short stories over the years as they were published in a one book three author style. When I found Three in Death which contained the first three short stories I was thrilled. And I have been waiting for the next three to be reprinted in a single book. I always study any book to determine if it is new story or a reprint of an older novel. And sometimes I am on the hunt for reprinted books because of not beening able to find a good used copy.

If you love LT Eve Dallas and the cast of characters in the "In Death" series, you must read these short stories. I never want to miss a moment. You can't put down these stories once you start. You have to find out what happens.

J. D. Robb is her usual excellent in writing these. Especially the 3rd. Classic locked room, done better than 99% of others in her genre.

Erica I've been a fan of Dallas and Rourke novels for years. This one was not one of the best but certainly worth the read. A little less complex than her other novels.

Eve Dallas short stories. Wonderful! Again Nora Roberts writing as JD Robb has given us a several hours of reading enjoyment. I had read one of the stories previously. One of the joys in reading a Roberts/Robb story is it's just as good if not better the 2nd, 3rd or even 4th time you pick it up & read. I never get bored or set the book aside. Her characters have life, not flat one in the lot.

I read a few previous reviews and I still find these 3 shorts to be excellent. It never hurts to reread J. D. Robb's books no matter how they come about. I've read all but one, and should start from scratch once more.

Every book in the "In Death" series is a complete story but they are all related. Eve Dallas is not the hero of this series, J.D. Robb is. Once I start reading her books, I hate to put them down.

These re-released short stories helped fill out my collection on my Nook. I love that they fill in time lost between novels. If you love Dallas and Roarke then these are a must have addition.
