In this coming of age debut trilogy, USA Today bestseller Micah Caida turns dystopian young adult fiction on its ear with a breathtakingly fresh science fiction, fantasy story that is as much a thriller as it is a romantic tale.
Time Trap, book 2 in the Red Moon trilogy
Her Time. His Time. No Time Rayen promised to return, Gabby must return, and Tony can't return. Three teenage friends are connected by a shared secret that forces a decision with consequences no one expects. When Rayen arrives on the Red Moon sphere again, she finds shocking changes. Her arrival causes more upheaval and danger for the MystiK children, creating a heart wrenching challenge for Callan who must choose between duty and holding onto the one girl he can't have. But walking away is harder than he expects when a new MystiK male in the sphere is poised to take Callan's place. Under threat of attack from an unexpected enemy, Rayen and Callan must put their personal feelings aside to unite a village in chaos. Choices backfire, trust is forfeit and alliances shift as elements of the Damian Prophecy begin to fall into place and the time of reckoning is closer than anyone expected.
What readers are saying about Time Return: "I loved reading this second book, Time Return. Everything developed fluidly from Time Trap, and the characters were true to themselves, and yet bold. There was tons of action in the Sphere and outside of the Sphere, and watching the characters face so much that pushed them all to the physical and emotional limit was a great ride. Time Return certainly delivered what I was looking for-action, intrigue, and a lot of fun. Thank you Michah Caida for another book that I will be rereading a lot!" Emily Gifford, 17, has also read Divergent, The Codex of Alera, and The Lost World

I'm Completely Hooked on this series! I came across this series through a friend last year, right after Micah Caida released Book 1, her debut novel. I'm an adult reader, but I think some of the best stories out there right now are being written by YA authors. The first book hooked me hard, so if you haven't read it, get it NOW and do so. The world is complex and the odds against the main character seem insurmountable, but that's the mark of a great author--building a story you can't put down. This second book is a brilliant follow-up to the first. I ended up falling in love with characters I didn't even LIKE in the first book, and watching them each find themselves, grow, change, and fall into young love has left me thinking of these characters after I've put the book down. I catch myself staring off into space, reliving scenes in this book while I'm supposed to be working! This is a laughing-crying-happy-sad-OMG-OH NO-YES!-fist-pump read, and Micah Caida is now one of my top three authors EVER.
