Overview

The desecrated Indian's grave and the dark ominous clouds rolling in off of the choppy Texas bay should have been enough reasons for sixteen year old Sofia Harris and her three classmates to bolt back to their boat and flee Dewberry Island. Instead, their constant bickering, and absence of cooperative effort kept them on the foreboding isle. Suddenly, an electrical storm and unexplained universal forces create a time portal and the group unintentionally journeys 158 years into the past where they are held captive by a band of Karankawa Indians. On the desolate Texas wetlands, the mismatched teens must confront their inner-demons, survive the hostile environment, and find a way to work together to get back home. Also available in Kindle for $2.99
