Sofia Kendrick has always cherished her tiara. As the youngest daughter of a wealthy New York family, she's lived the life of an American princess. But after two scandalous divorces and a breakup smear her name across the society rags, the shine from her crown has dulled. People call her superficial, even gaudy.

She's nothing more than tinsel.

Desperate for escape and starving for peace, Sofia heads to Montana for a holiday weekend with her brother. But she doesn't get the relaxing vacation she planned. Instead, she's put to work in a bar alongside Dakota Magee—a man who does not want her help. A man who is set on teaching her a few lessons about real life and hard work. But Sofia has a couple of life lessons of her own to teach. Like how to fall in love.

Expressive, emotionally charged, and deeply felt—Tinsel is the fall and rise of one woman! The traits for Devney Perry's characters do not go unnoticed as each one is just as fascinating as the ones that came before. Devney took a character I undoubtedly loathed with every fiber in my being and transformed her into someone I grew to love with every flip of the page. Sofia Kendrick is a spoiled rich princess. Or so we thought. Crown aside, Sofia is a little girl who never got the same attention as her older siblings. She's misunderstood, searching for acceptance, wanting love, broken from the past, and a woman without her passion. To my core, I felt for her, and I hurt for you. I cried for the woman I once saw as a villainess! Sofia's escape from the big city to Lark Cove, Montana puts her on a path of healing and as she travels the road of self-discovery she uncovers the truth about herself—there is strength in her tears and power in her vulnerabilities. Dakota Magee, though estranged from his family traditions he is still very much haunted by them. As an American Indian his life was planned for him from birth, yet rooted in Dakota's marrow was the desire to fly free of the ties to his tribe's reservation. The freedom he seeks causes a rift between him and his family, one that grows wider every day he doesn't return home. Dakota's battle isn't with the opinions of other's. Instead, his war is with his perception of himself. Sofia Kendrick and Dakota Magee were an unexpected pair. Two people from two separate backgrounds with completely different lifestyles, yet they found a home in one another. This woman—which I shouldn't be surprised by now—has an extraordinary talent that only seems to showcase the development of her writing with each novel. Descriptive and imaginative, Devney Perry not only reveals the settings within the story beautifully but she pens characters that scream home while creating a feeling of comfort in her small towns that keeps readers, myself included, coming back book after book after book!

Tinsel is another fabulous book by Author Devney Perry. Her books capture everything an extraordinary book should have. Her words and books have permanent places on my bookshelf and are forever tattooed on my heart. Her stories are the kind that demand rereads and have you thinking about them out of nowhere from time to time like you would about an old friend. You become that invested and enamored with the characters. She creates amazing fictional worlds and characters. Sofia agrees to interview for a magazine article along with several other Manhattan heiresses. She expects the article and her picture perfect cover picture to paint her in a favorable light. It does the opposite and makes her seem shallow and materialistic, like window dressing and tinsel...just to be looked at, but lacking substance. It shatters her already thin self confidence. She escapes to Montana and meets Dakota... Dakota and Sofia are two people from two totally different worlds that are inexplicably drawn to each other. Neither wants to act on their attraction, but can they help themselves?! Devney Perry is an Author I want everyone to know about. This is an Author that everyone will know about. This author’s flawless writing speaks for itself and readers are flocking to her. The ending...gah...the ending!!! It ties the whole series and all of the characters together. It is beautiful and made me cry happy tears!

Once again Devney Perry reminds me of the power she has as a writer to make me feel so much all at once. Tinsel was the story that brought the depth of the characters out into the light. Their struggles. Their conflicts. Their insecurities and their differences. Not all the characters are the same and each have a story to share. It's just so amazing and wonderful! Sofia Kendrick is the character you love to hate. When I first meet her in Tattered, I couldn't stand her and I really wanted to slap her in the face. Watching her in Tinsel and seeing how her family and society portrayed her as this spoiled rich princess was heartbreaking. Yet, she rose from the ashes to prove she can be somebody of worth. Though she struggled to find herself, she wasn't useless. Then we have Dakota Magee. Gosh, I love all the men of Lark Cove. They're all so special and Dakota was no exception. He's an intriguing man. An enmiga. He fights his own demons and struggles. Being an American Indian and not following in his families traditions is his burden to bear. He wants so badly to make his family proud and for them to understand him. Together Dakota and Sofia, were a force to be wrecken with. So different and from completely different paths in life, their relationship begins as a ten day fling that grows into so much more. These two had to overcome many obstacles and really find themselves. It was passionate. Their chemistry explosive and awe-inspiring. I was immediately drawn in and couldn't let go. I rooted for them every step of the way! Tinsel was perfection. A great ending to a magnificent series. Sexy, sweet, emotional, life changing, and breathtaking. With that final note, I will miss this series and these characters so much. This is not a goodbye, but a see you soon! "Be bold. Find your magic. Chase the impossible."

Sofia and Dakota are opposites in nearly way, but absolutely kindred spirits. Their largely different backgrounds, her as a New York socialite and him as a Native American bartender, may make it seem like they have nothing in common, but they find common ground in being a disappoint to the respective families. Both break the mold of what is expected of them and recognize the spark in each other for one of the most epic epilogues since the conclusion of the Jamison Valley Series. Devney brings all the feels - love, laughter, heartache, grief, joy, and more - to this couple and we get to revisit the other couples of Lark Cove in this beautifully written finale.

WOW!!!!!!!! Amazing how the Devney Perry was able to totally redeem Sofia from Tattered!!!!! Beautifully written that not only draws the reader into the world of Lark Cove and New York but also imparts life lessons that we can all learn and use. An epic story of having “your person” and a fantastic ending to a great series. Well done!

Sofia Kendrick has been a spoiled princess type of character. I have looked forward to her story, because I knew she would have a lot of growth in her journey. I was not wrong. I loved the story of why she came to Montana and how she came to meet Dakota. It was a humbling experience for her. The differences between these two were so vast and wide, you would never have thought to pair them together. They had an instant attraction though, that helped lead them to more. I really enjoyed all the ups and downs they went through, individually and as a couple. It was full of hope, heartbreak and growth. Tinsel really helps to prove that despite people's differences in culture, race or financial status, love can conquer all.

Scandal…..it’s the driving force in Sophia Kendrick’s life. Even if the intent wasn’t to cause drama, the trickledown effect always ends up revealing another cause for tabloid fodder. The latest unveiling came after an interview sheds Sofia’s life in a not so flattering way. A sensational scandal that once again pulled Sophia’s family into the spotlight right along with the Princess of New York. With ridicule oozing from the article, Sophia decides to seek solitude in the one place she can escape judgment. Heading to Lark Cove, Montana seems like the perfect solution to escape the judgment from the article that haunts Sophia. After all – Logan and Thea have always shown Sophia nothing but kindness. What Sophia didn’t realize is Thea was devising a plan of her own; a way to instill a little bit of confidence inside the girl that only wanted to please those around her. Determined to show Sophia that she ‘matters’, Thea hatches a plan that will leave the unemployed heiress responsible for the bar that Thea holds near and dear to her heart. In spite of never working a day in her life, Sophie tackles the job of looking after Thea’s bar with determination. One of the people that is guiding Sophia through this ordeal is Dakota. Even though his temper flares at time, Dakota tries to show Sophia the ins and outs of running the bar. What neither counted on was the instant attraction that they would feel. What harm could come to giving in to their desires if both knew for certain that nothing could come of their time together? As Sophia and Dakota will quickly learn, you can’t always control your heart. Tinsel is the latest book in the Lark Cove series by Devney Perry. It follows the youngest sibling to Logan Kendrick, and the most spoiled Kendrick of the bunch. With two divorces under her belt, a poor attitude at times, and a string of bad choices – Sophia isn’t exactly the picture perfect idea of a character that knows how to make commitments. Dakota adds his own drama to the mix as a son that doesn’t want to live his life dictated by tradition. Both are swimming in a sea of uncertainty, and seem to be drawn deeply to the other. A string of uncertainty will lead these two broken souls on a journey that will take them across the states to uncover what it is that drives their hearts. The reality of just how difficult each of the milestones the other reaches will transpire across the pages in a way that leaves you longing a perfect love. Dakota and Sophia know that their lives are just too different to make a relationship work. Just don’t tell that to their heart, which is breaking further by the day. Devney Perry always writes about the most amazing characters. Every time she pens about love, it is with the realization that no love story is perfect. The journey to finding ‘the one’ is what it is all about!! I think Sophia was the most unexpected character out of the entire series, and her story is one that you don’t want to miss!! Make sure you dive into the latest journey to Lark Cove…..you can thank me later!!

Sofia did an interview for a magazine and was excited for her family to finally be proud of her. After seeing the article she is humiliated and embarrassed. Time for a trip to visit Logan in Montana. Dakota is a bartender for Thea and Jackson. When he gets stuck babysitting Sofia while she is visiting he quickly realizes that a Princess doesn't make for good bar help. I wasn't sure what I would think of this book since I really HATED Sofia in book 1. I could totally see why the reporter wrote what she did. Fell in love with Dakota and his sexy, broody personality. The author wrote a perfect character in Dakota to bring out the real Sofia. What a nice change that the wealthy family was accepting of the working guy. Tinsel is another great addition to the Lark Cove Series.

Fun to read.

This was so emotional on both characters sides,.young Sofia my heart broke for her. All she wanted was some attention and to feel she meant something and was as important to her family as her brother and sister. What she got was excuses of work or pushed to one side while they got help with important stuff. For Dakota it was his heritage, how important that was and the rules that went with it, it was a wonder he hadn't really rebelled. I could completely understand both characters making the choices they had and did. This book I had been waiting for, I wanted to understand these two characters and the reasons they were like they came across in previous books, there story had me crying and praying at times. I was so invested I read almost the whole book in just a few hours and late into the night. So well written and the consistency follows well from the other books so the gap from reading the last one to this one didn't matter, it all came back. This series was the first I'd read of this author but I have no hesitation in reccomending it. Congratulations on a fabulous book and series Devney Perry ❤❤

Tinsel is the fourth and final book in the Lark Cove Series written by Devney Perry. I am so sad to see this series end. I love the way Devney writes it gives you all the feel good feelings. She has such a way with words that keep you engaged from the first page to the last. Her books just keep getting better and better. Devney wrote this book in such a way that if you disliked Sofia in tattered you loved and rooted for her in this book. I don’t know how she does it but once I start one of her books I can never put them down until I turn the last page. What and ending to this awesome series everything tied up very nicely. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next. I highly recommend this book.

Wow! There are not enough words for me to explain how much I loved this story! I am a huge fan of opposites attract and this is one of the best I've read. This author writes some of the best romance I've ever read, the kind that has your heart beating and gives you butterflies while reading. Anyone who loves a good romance should read this book! Sofia and Dakota are everything!!!

When starting a Devney book, I prepare myself to be consumed by the story- and I was just that. Totally and utterly consumed by Sofia and Dakota’s story. I was torn apart- for many reasons. Loving someone you think you can never have- sucks. And the other reason I was wrecked- was because I knew this was the last Lark Cove book and I was going to miss this Montana world- much like I was when the Jamison Valley series was over. Sofia- regardless of how people reacted to her as spoiled, every bit of her that I saw was a strong heroine character. And an attack on her personality had her going to into overdrive with her thoughts- so she packed her things to visit her bother Logan in Montana. Best decision of her life- she meets Dakota Dakota- regardless of how people thought he was shut down, and turned off to things, was a fantastic hero. I can never pick my favorite hero of Devney’s- but if I had to out of the Lark Cove men, it’d be Dakota. He moves away from his reservation to start his successful life- and he does. Right when he feels like he has his life figured out- Sofia trips in, and blows all his plans out of the water It’s not an easy love story- but it’s damn worth all the struggle these characters go through, and I loved every minute from start to finish- even though I shed more tears than I care to share, ha! Devney’s beautiful writing never ceases to amaze me, and she’s done it again with this one. It would behoove you to sit down and read all her words. Especially if you love to read, love small town romances, or just love when the girl gets the guy. Devney is the author for you.

Perfection. Pure emotional, romantic, blissful perfection. I mean, I have loved every single book in the Lark Cove series, so maybe it's no surprise that the only words I have for this final installment are of the "glowing praise" variety. But honestly, I don't think there could have been a more perfect ending for this series. And at this moment I'm hard pressed to think that there could have been a more perfect love story than that between Dakota Magee and Sofia Kendrick. Simply put, I completely adored Dakota. I loved him fiercely. Almost as fiercely as he loved Sofia, who I was primed not to like (based on previous books in this series) and yet who captured my heart almost as effortlessly as Dakota did. The magic of this story is in how these two beautiful souls care for each other, how they lifted each other up, how they encouraged each other to be the best versions of themselves. It tugged at my heart, causing much swooning and fluttering, and overflowing emotion. There are many time jumps in the story, which is a thing that doesn't always work for me, but for these characters in this story, it was, well, perfection. I was completely captivated by this richly layered, beautifully told love story. It is somehow complicated and stripped down at the same time. Both Dakota and Sofia find themselves dealing with some heavy life issues, which lent their relationship a fair amount of adversity. However it felt authentic, the struggles felt very real and my heart ached for them while they sorted through their demons and found their way to their happily ever after. And, as a series ender, it gave just the right amount of update on the couples I'd already met along the way. So much good, happy closure here. When you invest in a series the way I had invested my heart in this one, you can only hope that it will leave you on a high note and, I am so happy to say, Tinsel left me on the highest of notes. And, while there is a slight feeling of bittersweet that there will be no more visits to Lark Cove, I truly could not be more satisfied. It was just lovely. Tinsel is romance at its finest. It's heartwarming and packed with emotion. It's the perfect balance of lightness and heaviness. And the characters are so special, my heart may never let them go. I cannot say it enough, this book (this series, really) is perfection, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I can not remember having the anxious anticipation of any book like I did with Tinsel. I can't say enough good things about this author, this series and this particular story. All of the waiting was worth it because it did not disappoint. It was beautifully written. I loved the characters as well as visiting with characters from previous books. It feels like visiting old friends. The epilogue was beautiful and perfect. It was more than I had even hoped for.

Devney does it again with this tantalizing tale of finding your passion. I have to say I was initially hesitant about this story, reading about a spoiled rich girl has no appeal. But, I have LOVED every book by Devney, each story unique and wonderful. Therefore, I dove in. SOOO, glad I did. Just like her other books, this one is equally incredible. Devney has a natural talent to tell a story with incredible depth. Each character is richly developed with multiple layers of complexity. Couple that with a story that keeps unfolding emotional layers creates an enthralling book you can’t stop reading. A beautiful story of growth and acceptance. Devney writes stories that enable the reader to establish bonds with the characters becoming emotionally involved with them and the story. Yes, I ended up loving the spoiled rich girl. My heart traveled the Sofia and Dakota roller coaster and I loved every minute! I read an arc of this story. My honest and fair review is voluntary.

Tinsel is once again another fabulous book by the amazing Devney Perry! It's focus is on Sofia Kendrick and Dakota Magee. Sofia is the character you love to hate, the spoiled rick princess. Dakota well he is just like all the other male characters Devney writes, an intriguing hot alpha man (which we all love). I adored this couple, it didn't take long for these two to grow on each other. Through some of their roughest times, they finally realize they were meant for each other. But will they make it work for forever? To find out you need to read Tinsel ASAP!!!! I will admit I did get teary eyed a few times. I absolutely LOVED this book and I'm very sad that it is the last one in The Lark Cove series

Another amazing Lark Cove book! I’m sad to see this series be over but it’s been such an amazing ride! I loved all of the Lark Cove books and Tinsel was no exception. This was a wonderful way to wrap up the series. Another fantastic job Devney. I loved everything about this book. Even though Sofia was judged by so many people, I really felt for her. If you didn’t think you’d like her before this book, you’ll definitely change your mind. You really get to see her and I enjoyed it. Oh Dakota. I loved him! He may be my new favorite character in the Lark Cove series! I would one hundred percent recommend you read this book. This was definitely a great way to wrap up the series. 5 Stars!

This was a bittersweet ending. I'm sad to see the Lark Cove gang go- but I've enjoyed each and every one of these books. Tinsel was no different. Sofia was judged from the beginning, yet from the very moment we met her, I needed to know more. I wanted to see her get her HEA. And after finishing this book, you really got into her head and dissected who she was, and who she wanted to become. I couldn't help but be her champion- rooting her on every time I sat down to read. I also enjoyed the fact that Perry doesn't just have the typical "meet cute, they fall in love, it's all roses, the end." No, she makes you work for it, especially in this book. And in the end, it was well worth it. The love story between Sofia and Dakota is one that will stick with me. I also really liked how the author stuck in other elements from previous couples, as well as a new one. Everything was tied up with a beautiful bow. Only the second book of the year for me, and hands down a 2019 favorite. Goodbye Lark Cove Gang, I'll miss you!

I really loved and enjoyed Tinsel. I think it may be my favorite of the series. I couldn't get enough of the story line and characters. I was hooked right away. Sad to see this wonderful series go but can't wait to read what Devney writes next.
