A darkness more than night. A man in search of vengeance.

By night he is Fury, a solitary figure protecting the streets of Chicago. Defender of victims who fall between the cracks of Justice and Law, he was spawned by violence--forged by gunfire, blood, and tragedy.

By day he is Hunter Grayson, widower and ex-cop. With no room in his life for compassion or distraction, Hunter has one goal: Find the men responsible for his wife's murder and bring them to justice.

His mission leads him to Grace Locke.

Unlike the hundreds of other faceless victims he's rescued, Hunter finds himself drawn to her. The attraction is equally unsettling for Grace, who doesn't understand how she can share a bond with the vigilante in black leather, yet knows the electricity between them is undeniable.

To ignore it is impossible. To accept it is lunacy.

As Grace is seduced deeper into Hunter's world of night and shadows, the secrets of the past-- secrets someone would kill to protect-- are resurrected. As the danger moves closer, Grace must place her life and her heart in the hands of a man whose face she's never seen or die.

About the Author

A love of reading led to a love of writing for Julie Harrington. With eclectic tastes in genres (not to mention music, hobbies, and purses), her writing career produced a mystery/paranormal/horror and mystery novel before bringing her full circle to her first love: Contemporary Romance. Her first and second romance novels, "Ship Shape" and "Tinsel", take readers from the beautiful, sunny, sexy islands of the Caymans to the cold, dark, winter streets of Chicago. "Something To Talk About," her third novel - and finalist in the Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart Contest - was released in April of 2012 by The Wild Rose Press. Julie believes that falling in love should always be an adventure, and that reading a book should always take readers on an adventure they'll love.

Okay this was an amazing book. It kinda reminded me of BATMAN but its not like a batman rip off. No this book was filled with creative twists and turns and even though you know they all fall in love, towards the end it all exploded and fell into wonderful place. It was also ripping with action & mystery. A small moral in the book was that you never really know who the badguys are( but teaches you what goes "BANG" in the night.)*and he's clad in leather and rides a harley*. Julie Harrington has really outdone herself. I am a Fury Fangirl. Thank you.

I'm not sure why the author titled this book "Tinsel." There's a vague mention of tinsel a couple of times in the book, but I don't think it fits. So ignore the title and read the book. It's got a Batman/superhero feel to it but not like anything you've seen. I loved it!

I really loved this book. It had a great story line to it. I would love to see a sequel with Micheal and London's story.

I loved the mystery storyline in the book. I used to read romance after romance, and I have changed my reading path. While I would have preferred less romance, the mystery and suspense were top of the line! I love the characters, especially the Fury/Hunter twist. If you are really into romance, suspense, this is your kind of book!

An easy to read book with few words over the sixth grade reading level with a predictable plot and just enough steamy scenes to keep the reader intetested. Not recommended for children or youth.

I was a bit hesitant about the book, but after the first couple of chapters I knew it was a keeper. The emotional struggles that the characters go through (specially our hero) are so realistic that you'll find yourself feeling some of the same emotions. Not to mention, I'm a total super hero fan, and this book definitley appealed to my love of Batman.

Good story of a scarred man coming to grips in the face of a new love. Didi forget to mention he's a super hero? More along the lines of Batman in that he is just a normal man with the income to support his nightly activities. Sucker for a super hero

Wow! This is the first book I have read from this auhor. I will absolutely read more. Ms Harrington has a gripping style and "can't put it down" action. This book was not bogged down with endless discription and side stories, but gave enough background and insite that you could easily wrap yourself around the story and lives of its characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and believe you will also.
