Overview

To Catch a Texas Cowboy by Julie Benson

Grace Henry needs a reboot. Laid off and unable to find a new job in her native NYC, Grace heads West to Wishing, Texas to run her best friend's bed and breakfast. But before she hits the city limits, to her luck, Grace rear ends the chief of police's truck. As the mouth watering western dream peels off his shirt to clean her cut, she reminds herself what cops are like--cynical, inflexible, curious and controlling. Her NYPD father taught her that fact.

FBI agent AJ Quinn is undercover in Wishing to catch a forger. Though his best friend lives in Wishing and he always longed to buy land there, Wishing is an annoying detour from his purpose, working major cases and fulfilling the vow to his father to make a difference in the world. But when Grace crashes into his life, AJ suddenly finds himself questioning his direction and determination to remain single.

Though Grace and AJ insist they don't want a relationship and are wrong on too many levels to count, when the head says no, the heart says yes.....

This, Book 2 (Please read Book 1 First - To Love a Texas Cowboy) is an excellent book by Julie Benson... Lots going on here as Grace and AJ work things out.. Grace loses her job after testifying for the FBI in a NYC trial against a co=worker... Nobody will hire her now so she is forced to go to Texas to manage her friends B & B...AJ is FBI working undercover as the Town Sheriff trying to break a counterfeit ring... Great cast of characters you will meet in Book 1 and enough going on to hold your interest throughout... Really enjoyed it. Book 3 to come...

To Catch a Texas Cowboy by Julie Benson is book 2 in a series, but you can with some easy read them as stand alone. I did. It's a nice, well written, story with great characters. Nice setting, with a nice small town, and characters that you know, if you have read book one. Otherwise it's easy to follow along. It's a good classic story boy meets girl and it's nicely done.

To Catch a Texas Cowboy by Julie Benson, I loved this book. The town of Wishing Is perfect to live in, Grace returns to run a Bed and Breakfast. She run into the chief of police's truck. Grace and AJ have so much chemistry, will they be able to act on it. This is my first book by Julie Benson and I am looking forward to more in this series. Julie Benson's To Catch a Texas Cowboy has us back in Wishing, Texas with the second in the series. I enjoyed this latest in the Wishing, Texas series. Grace is moving from the big city to small town America after being laid off. Before she starts her new job running her best friend's bed and breakfast, Grace runs into the chief of police. AJ Quinn is the acting police chief while undercover in Wishing. There's an undeniable attraction that is going to conflict with Grace's edict not to become involved with cops and AJ solving his undercover case. I really enjoyed how the relationship developed. With secrets waiting to be discovered, the tension kept me wondering what was going to happen next. I liked the match of Grace and AJ. To Catch a Texas Cowboy makes for an enjoyable romance with depth and characters you can't help but like.

I enjoyed going back to Wishing. Grace enters Texas with a bang, right into AJ! As she helps Cassie with wedding plans she settles into a new job, new life, away from NY. AJ is working a case, while helping his best friend Ty get things ready for his upcoming nuptials to Cassie. I look forward to seeing where this series goes. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Loved it!! This is the second in the Wishing TX series and it's excellent, has me looking forward to the next one. This one can easily be read standalone. The characters are fantastic and the writing is great. Has me wanting to move to the small town. Running into the rear end of the chief of police's car probably isn't the best way to announce her arrival in Wishing but that's exactly what Grace Henry does! And what a nice looking male specimen he is. Too bad he's a cop. Grace's one relationship rule - no cops! AJ Quinn is acting as temporary chief of police in Wishing while secretly working on an undercover investigation for the FBI. As soon as he can wrap up his investigation he's back in Houston working larger more meaningful cases. So that means he has no time to start something with the pretty newcomer. Too bad, really! A great read that I highly recommend.

With her business reputation on the line and unable to find a job in NYC, Grace Henry decides it’s time to move to Wishing Texas to help run her friend Cassie's B&B, The Bluebonnet Inn. As soon as she gets into town, the brakes on her car give out and she slams into the back of a pickup truck. Only she could start off her new life in Wishing by rear-ending, and then insulting the chief of police, AJ Quinn. AJ came to Wishing two months ago to help his friend Jack break a forgery case. When Jack dies in a plane crash, AJ takes over Jack's position as chief of police while still working undercover for the FBI. As soon as he cracks the case, he will be able to leave Wishing and get back to his life. The last thing Grace wants is a relationship with a cop. But it seems the forces are working against her and she soon finds herself drawn to this sexy small town police chief. How long with Grace and AJ be able to fight the strong attraction that is growing between them? This is an enjoyable story with a lot of depth to it. The characters and storyline keep your attention until the very end. I look forward to reading more in this series.

This was a very sweet story. Grace is trying to get a fresh start, and decides to help her friend out in Wishing, TX before Cassie's wedding. Then she runs into AJ, the best man at the wedding and the police chief of Wishing. Then things get interesting. I loved the characters and the town people. AJ and Grace were both great characters, with some baggage but big hearts. I loved watching them grow closer during their time together. I really enjoyed the ending as well. Just a lovely, romantic story.

“To Catch A Texas Cowboy” by Julie Benson is book two in the Wishing, Texas series. This book can be read as a standalone. This is Grace Henry and AJ Quinn’s story. Grace has had some personal and professional struggles she is dealing with and needs to get away. Her friend Cassie offers her the job to run her bed and breakfast in Wishing, Texas. AJ Quinn is undercover working as the Chief of Police in Wishing, Texas. His friends live there, but they do not know why he is really there. Grace decides to take the bed and breakfast job. She doesn’t make the best impression on AJ when she literally crashes into him. Their encounter was pretty funny. This is a really sweet romance between two people that are dealing with their own struggles and secrets. The chemistry and tension is intense between them. Will they take a risk on love? The story had a lot of depth to it. The characters and storyline flow really well. From the beginning to the end the author had my attention. Wishing, Texas sounds like a great community to live in. The people are great too. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I lived in Texas for over twenty years and I miss it. The scenery descriptions remind me so much of Texas. I felt like I got to visit. I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review.

After Grace Henry looses her job she decides to move to Wishing Texas to help run her Best Friend's Bed and Breakfast. Before she gets into town she literally runs into Wishing's chief of police AJ Quinn. Aj is an undercover FBI agent and working an a case in wishing. Grace is convinced that she has no interest in a relationship with a cop after her rocky past with them and Aj senses shes hiding things. I really enjoyed this book and thought it went well in the series. I loved the main characters and thought they were very believable. I'm looking forward to more in this series.
