This is definitely my favorite. 104 pages. Each book can stand alone, no cliff hangers. This story has lots of heart, complexity, character development, adult content (but not gratuitous), likeable characters. A few minor grammar or typo errors, but did not detract from experience. Definitely recommend!

I don't often cry any more, since little has escaped my notice in my 76 years. You had me in tears!

The book is good, but would have liked the story to be a little more in depth. It felt rushed. Going on to book 2 of the series.

This book got off to a terrific start. I really loved the pull of the bakery and Adam's somewhat clueless state on why he loved it there so much. It was the perfect set-up for everything to come. Paige was a lot of fun. She was one heck of a baker and had a HUGE crush on Adam - but he didn't know and she liked to keep it that way. But of course, fate has to stick her nose into everyone's lives and mix them up a bit. It's almost too late by the time Adam finally realizes just what Paige may be to him. In fact, towards the end was the one part that I think was just a little too much. We broke the lore. I don't like it when an author has to break their lore in order to make a story work. The authors did a good job trying to give a reason and adding some genuine confusion on the part of the characters - they don't know why it broke either apparently. But it just seemed like a bit of a cop out. *This book was received in exchange for an honest review*

Somewhere, Tx Adam VonBrandt could not believe Deirdre the shewolf had mated to someone else after 10 years of them hooking up. But oddly he wasn't as upset as he thought he should have been. It just meant his mate was out there and there was so many she-wolves to go thought. Paige is a baker and for the past 6 years she has been trying to get up the nerve to tell Adam VonBrandt how she felt about him. WOW i loved it. Just when you think everything is going to be great for them someone pulls them apart. Will the magic be strong enough to fix this? Shifter fans will not want to miss this one.

I'm a big fan of the VonBrandt family and I enjoyed this one. You have Adam who thought he would mate with his best friend, but it was not meant to be. He now has to find his mate. What happens if she was right in front of him the whole time. Right off I like Paige because she's a baker. Paige looks forward to Adam's weekly bakery visits. There is a heartbreaking moment in this book, but what Adam does afterwards shows the love he is capable of. Great read with awesome engaging characters.

Adam VonBrandt is the last of his siblings to be unmated. Even his sometimes companion got mated. As he goes about his Friday routine, his normal server Paige isn’t there to help him. Suddenly the bakery doesn’t quite feel like home like it normally does. When she appears out of nowhere, he feels much better until she acts like she can’t stand him. I really loved this story. From start to finish, my heart cried for Adam and Paige. Just a great story. I highly recommend. **I received a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review

I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review. I love all the Somewhere, Tx wolf stories. Have we run out of brothers yet?? I sure hope not. Adam VonBrandt does not believe in fated mates. He does not believe in love either. At least not the kind everyone around him seems to be finding all the sudden. Even his former "girlfriend" has found her fated mate and now he has no one. But there are still the delightful sweets at the bakery in town. At least he thinks that why he is drawn there every Friday. Paige is a human. She works at the bakery in Somewhere. She has been obsessing over Adam VonBrandt for six long years. Who the heck gave her Friday off? She is going in anyway. She can't miss a day when she is sure to see Adam. Today is different though. Today he actually touches her. Why did it feel like an electrical shock? Why does it seem like he can't get away from her? Ohh. Maybe this fated mate stuff is real. Unfortunately Paige sees something she is not supposed to see, and that is not going to be helpful in the romance department. Adam has to figure out a way to save her. He knows he can't live without her. Loved this book. A little different twist from the others in the series. Can't give details, you must read it for yourself.

Adam VonBrandt has come to the bakery for the past 6 years but today the smell is off and he doesn't know why. Paige Wheeler has worked at the bakery for 6 years and every Friday she sees the man she is in love with but he doesn't know it. This is their journey to come together. I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. This is book 4 of the VonBrandt Family series by the author. I love this series and the characters and once I start reading I can't put the book down till I finish it.

This series keeps getting better and better and this by far is my favorite VonBrandt Family book of the series. Paige's character is great in her steadfast love for Adam. Readers will enjoy her self dialog regarding everything that is happening to her regarding Adam and she will warm your heart in how she reacts to some serious events that change her life forever. Seriously why are men so dense sometimes...Adam certainly takes the cake in this area and it was quite joyful watching his awareness shift towards Paige and my heart went out for them as they struggled to survive the unspeakable event. I just love Adam's reaction and he moved to the top of BBF (book boyfriend) list at the end of the book for his compassion and love. This gets 5 STARS. Will you pick up the book so see why this book was so great? An ARC was gifted in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this story. It is unique in using the mate bond which is unusual for books in the genre. Adam is the youngest of the family and finds himself wanting to find a mate since he has lost his long time fling who he thought he would mate. He is unsure if he will find his true mate and decides to try when there are several unattached female wolves in his brothers home for the next full moon. Will he find his mate? I like the way the story presents several twists and turns. They keep you on the edge of your seat. I found that I had to keep reading and not stop until I was finished. Get read and definitely I think most will love the twists. I am looking forward to the next book in the series because so far they have all been wonderful!

Paige moved to Somewhere Texas 6 years ago to join her friend in her new bakery, and for 6 years Paige has had a crush on Adam VonBrandt. It’s so bad, she tongue-tied around him to a point where he thinks she doesn’t like him. Adam keeps returning to the bakery every Friday because he likes Paige’s baking, and Paige wouldn’t miss a Friday, whether she’s working or not. Adam, a werewolf, had had his eye one a woman as a potential Fated mate, but there was no real connection, and when she finds her One, Adam is all alone. One Friday, Adam is all flustered when Paige is not at the bakery. She accidentally got the day off, which was not such a bad idea, because she thinks she’s hallucinating and seeing werewolves. Humans must not know of their existence, and when she gets her nerve and finally has a real conversation with Adam, she tells him about her “hallucinations”. He decides that she must be told, he doesn’t want anything bad to happen to her and he trusts that she will tell no one, but things go downhill fast… TO FIND A MATE is the fourth book in the VonBrandt Family series, and possibly the finest one to date, and it works perfectly as a standalone. Adam and Paige are superb characters, quite different from what we’re used to see, and really nice people to boot. They’ve had their signals confused for six years; they just couldn’t see what was right in front of them, and it was entirely plausible. Ms. Shannan wonderfully illustrates the Fated bond. The connection between Adam and Paige felt real, just like the type of thing that happens in real life. There’s quite a bit of tension, sexual and otherwise, and when something goes horribly wrong, there are some frenzied and heart-stopping moments, and there is one humongous plot twist that I never saw coming, tragedy struck, and it was marvellously resolved. TO FIND A MATE is Krystal Shannan at her very best: engaging characters, great storytelling, flawless writing, fabulous dialogues, and a romance that feels totally genuine. Super! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Will fate be kind to these two? Oh my! What a dramatic and emotional tale! I love this series and this story shines! Adam sees everyone around him finding their fated mates... after the woman he has been seeing on and off again for years does too, he decide he has to find his! Turns out she is the last person he ever thought it could be... the connection did not hit him over the head, but was so gradual he did not even realize it. Any book that touches my emotions is a winner in my eyes and that is exactly what this book did! Characters that had such a touching story to share... had me in tears at one point! 5 stars! *copy given in exchange for an honest review.

This is the best "Mate" book yet!! Every emotion has been wrung from me with this "bonded" couple!!! Scorching love making, intimate smiles and innuendo are the usual for these wonderful books but "To Find A Mate" is the jackpot!! Adam VonBrandt's struggle to realize his love and then to come close to losing what he never expected to find is written so poignantly that I had to compose myself several times!! This series is beyond amazing!!

We're back in Somewhere, TX!!! The Von Brandts are shaping up as my favourite family of shifters. Adam has been on/off with Deirdre for a decade. He knew they weren't mates but he would have appreciated a heads-up that she had found her mate! He needs cheering up and knows just what will do it - a visit to his slice of heaven on earth - the local bakery. He loves teasing the shy assistant Paige and the smells there are just divine, they make him feel such deep comfort. Paige loves Fridays, she gets to indulge in her weekly ogle of her crush, Adam. He always orders the Pain au Chocolat and she never misses a Friday if she can help it. She may be shy but when the nerves get to her, watch out cos the words just stream out unfiltered! They may be getting nudged together by her boss but she clams up whenever Adam is nearby and he doesn't think he could bring another human into the pack. But when visiting wolves get a bit "distracted" and wander off the ranch and Paige watches them transform, she thinks she ate some "magic mushrooms". But as things escalate out of control and she faces being spelled to forget what she has seen, Adam is in a race to protect the woman he has come to realise is his mate. I loved Adam and Paige. She is such an introvert and he is go charmingly sexy, they make a great counterpoint to each other. Paige is a wonder in the kitchen (I can burn water) so I really need her recipes cos all her creations sound delish - especially the pain au chocolat cookie!!! Great story with heart pumping moments and heartache. And of course off the chart hotness in the bedroom (well kitchen really!!))

To Find A Mate is book four in the VonBrandt Family series by Krystal Shannan and Camryn Rhys. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by one of the authors. We are back in Somewhere, Texas on the VonBrandt family ranch. It’s almost time for the monthly run with the full moon and they have a houseful. Adam VonBrandt has had a casual long standing sexual relationship with a female shifter and suddenly she has become mated to another. Even though they weren’t fated mates, he always thought they would eventually become mates. They did share a mutual connection. But when she explains that she has met her fated match, it saddens Adam that he will probably never find his. Once a week, every Friday, for the past six years, Adam has gone into town to the bakery to buy a chocolate croissant. It is the highlight of his week. His mouth waters just thinking about how good it smells inside the bakery and the feeling of comfort he always gets when he goes inside. This Friday, though, something is off. It smells different. And where is Paige, the shy girl that usually waits on him? Paige Wheeler moved to Somewhere six years ago and went to work at the bakery. Paige has a love of both horses and baking. She purchased a little farm and got herself a horse as well as the perfect job. Her highlight of the week is also Fridays. You see, she has been in love with the tall rancher that comes in every Friday for six years. But she’s too shy and nervous to talk to him. So she just dreams about him and waits for Friday to come around until she can see him again. This particular Friday her boss didn’t schedule her to work but she found an excuse to come in anyway and through the shenanigans of her boss, she ended up sitting with them in the dining area. She can’t believe she is actually sitting here with him after all this time. Now if she could just compose a coherent sentence. That morning when Paige had gone outside to sit on her favorite rock and watch the sunrise, she saw something unbelievable. She saw two humans change from human to wolf. The soup she ate the night before must have had bad mushrooms in it to cause her to hallucinate like that. So sitting in the bakery with Adam she finds herself nervously rambling on about what happened. Adam is shocked to hear that Paige saw a shift. That is against werewolf law and if his alpha found out, they would insist her memories be erased. Adam doesn’t want this to happen so he decides to spend the afternoon with Paige. The more time they are together, the stronger the pull becomes. Magick is at work and Adam slowly realizes that Paige might just be his fated mate. He has to protect her. But circumstances arise that again puts Paige in the wrong place at the wrong time and she is in danger. I have loved this series from the start. When I started this newest addition, I thought it would be a sweet story of Adam finding his mate. I couldn’t have been more wrong. These 81 pages are jam packed. I did not expect the intensity I experienced at all! You know when something big is happening and you find your heart beating extra fast and your eyes start trying to move faster to see what is going to happen? Well, that happened! And, if you are a fan of hot, sexy times in the kitchen, well, that item will be checked off as well. These two do enjoy the kitchen. This story can be read as a stand alone. But why not start at the beginning!
