To Market, To Market by Anne Miranda, Janet Stevens

Anne Miranda’s inventive twist on a classic rhyme tells what happens after a shopper goes “to market, to market, to buy a fat pig.” Back home the pig promptly escapes, and soon the pig’s in the kitchen, the lamb’s on the bed, the cow’s on the couch--and the rest of the animals are wreaking havoc throughout the house.

This is CaBLAMO, the owner of Nightlight Booksellers & Writers. Here, you can buy interesting books to read. All books are $2.59. Romance, thriller, mystery...You name it and we'll have it! You can also hire us to write stories for you. This will take $15.00, but you will be given all credit. You just post the character bios and all neccesary stuff, and we write the storyline! Nightlight is also hiring. Salary is monthly and amount depends on sales of that month. Enjoy!

This book is not only loads of fun, it is clever and fits within a perfect rhythm. The chaos and excitement jumps right off the page at readers and quickly becomes one to read again and again. Additionally, it is helpful to children learning to juggle the English language with its patterns.

As an early childhood educator, in the public school system, I have found this book to be almost magic with 4 & 5 year olds. The rhyme, rhythm and cadence of the text is perfect. The illustrations are captivating. You won't be sorry purchasing this lovely book!

My 18 mth old son loves this story so much that we have to go through it every night before he sleeps. The illustrations are hilarious and the story rhymes well so you can turn it into a sing-along book.
