This is a sweet, simple book. Readers will not be troubled with head-scratching over deep philosophical issues. Instead, if each vignette is taken at face value, readers may find God in unusual places. I say this because there are unresolved stories, but I eventually realized that was not the intent of the book. Perhaps the author will tell us more about Uncle George and "Mousie" in her next book.

To See the Sky is not just any story book. Judith Hugg has a graceful sense of humor. Her life has clearly not been easy but my, what perseverance. She shares her stories with us in a way that makes me think, "I want to be like her. I want to face the trials of life with my head high AND my heart on my sleeve." Her vignettes tell me I can.

I’ve never written a review on a book before, so please pardon my inexperience in terminology to use, but this is a book you don’t want to miss. It’s such an enjoyable reading experience, going through the chapters which are smaller, independent stories on their own. I love Judith’s writing style, very personal and humorous at the right times. She has shared many of her life experiences, and you can laugh, identify with, and learn from them all. I feel as though she and I became friends just by my reading this book. I recommend To See The Sky to everyone – it really is a gem!
