To Tame Her Tycoon Lover by Ann Major

As a girl from the wrong side of the bayou, Cici Bellefleur had loved one Claiborne brother…and been romanced by the other. Foolishly, she'd given Logan her innocence only to learn his seduction was but a means to an end. It was a betrayal she'd never forget—or forgive.

Discovering Cici had returned caught Logan by surprise…as did learning his desire for her had not diminished with time. Years before, he'd led her on to keep her away from his twin brother. Yet now the tycoon vowed to have Cici once again…this time to please no one but himself.

Unfortunately, this one is a rehash of an old movie plot, just set in the bayou instead of the Hamptons. Ruthless tycoon seduces the ex-gardener now bar owners' neice to keep her from marrying his twin brother, then throws her over, builds the family fortune, marrys and loses the proper wife he never really loved, but won't admit he always really "loved" the spunky, beautiful photo-journalist author who has secrets and heartache of her own. Throw in the bayou setting, a couple references to local cuisine, but this is still formula characters and no real development to explain why Cici should ever care, much less madly love, the tycoon, notwithstanding the alleged chemistry. Barely one star if someone loans you a copy and you want a mindless afternoon read, but at $4.99 for the e version, there are lots of better Southern romances available.
