The first time you read this book, curl up under your favorite blanket and untangle your mind and heal your heart with the warmth, humor and inspiration of Mr. Vaughn. Enjoy having your own memories resurface and be startled by the kind wisdom of a stranger who feels like family. Realize truly what a rich life we all lead and our time is never wasted when we pursue our dreams. Then, keep the book handy and read it whenever you have a bad day at work, someone cuts you off in traffic, or the world just makes you weary. A great gift and all the proceeds go to a worthy cause; you cannot go wrong and how often does that opportunity arise?

The book is easy reading with short stories that contain some powerful principles, or lessons in living. I think any grandparent, parent or avid reader will enjoy the homespun humor contained in the book. The fact that the author is giving all profits from the book to the Boys & Girls Clubs in America is a worthy 'lesson in living'.

Ralph Vaughn takes the reader on a ride through his life and introduces us to dozens of memorable characters. More importantly, Vaughn teaches us how to follow a dream.
