Born in Hamilton, Ontario, moved to the B.C. area at age 5, grew up in the Vancouver downtown eastside area, after various occupational endeavors and years later, worked 10 years in the community living field, working with mentally and physically challenged individuals, mostly with autistic children. Worked in all aspects of this field including the menatally ill, then returned to college and earned a diploma in counselling. Works now with children, families and individuals as a counsellor, presently resides in the Mission, B.C. area with his wife of over 27 years and dog Troy who is 4 and an afghan/golden retriever cross.
