i loved reading this story as a child, so i was very excited to find it. it is an amusing story of a group of babas, or grandma's, who all 'help' make a soup by adding their own favorite ingredient. when they all sit to eat it tastes horrible. so they decide to try again, this time assigning jobs. it teaches the importance of teamwork to young children. the pictures arn't particularly bright and colorful like most childrens books, but plain and simple.
