This book is adorable. It's completely ridiculous, nonsensical, and fun. Martha uses a catalog to determine what pet she should get, and she chooses a moose. When it comes, they do all kinds of crazy things together, and she loves it. So she orders 3 more moose. It's even more fun, so she orders more and more. You get the idea. Then it's too much, so she sends all but one back. The story is told in rhymes, so this book would make an excellent read aloud. The illustrations are fun and whimsical with many scenes on most pages. It's a bit long, so it would work better for ages 3 and up, but it's a really fun read as long as you don't mind pointless books. http://www.momsradius.com/2016/06/kid-lit-too-many-moose.html

*4.5 Rounded Up This was a very cute story that my son (3.5) aND I both enjoyed. It was marvelous. ;) The illustrations were quirky and fun, and had plenty of color, which is something that I rather like in a children's book. The use of M-words was actually a pleasant surprise and it was very well done. As were the rhymes and rhythm of the text. I also couldn't help but appreciate the subtle teaching of moose singular and moose plural. The story itself was both sweet and silly, blended expertly! I received a digital ARC from the publisher through NetGalley.com for an honest, unbiased review. My opinion is my own.
