The map included was very handy. We read the book before we left and marked what we wanted to see. Took it along and reviewed it while we were there.

Very useful, and convenient because of its small size, with detailed information on sights and attractions such as menu recommendations, hours of operation, and phone numbers, great for last minute researvations and changes of plans. Also liked the small maps of each area in the various sections. Did not use the included area map much, although others might find it useful. I found the larger city maps from the Santa Fe visitors center easier to use. For a small area like Santa Fe, this book covers just about all of the features a visitor would want to know about, including day trips to surrounding areas such as Taos and Ghost Ranch.
