This was a great book i read it in 2 days!!! Mo was a fool in love and would do anything to please Quan, but she finally met a dude that loved her for her and she didn't know how to handle him because he was too young, but sometimes age does not matter! In the end she finally got everything that she deserved a loving man, good job, and twins. I was glad that Quan got what was coming to him he lost it all the money, the good lifestyle , and espically Mo! That goes to show that you can not do someone wrong and not expect the same to happen to you double time!! This is a must read!

In the book Torn, Mo the main character has been dating her boyfriend Quan for nine years now and she can¿t seem to give Quan what he wants which is a baby. They¿re relationship has been going bad for the past 3 years and Mo can¿t understand why she can¿t give Quan his baby. Quan already has a baby that Mo has no idea about by another woman. He takes care of his son and his baby¿s mother very well and he even brought them a house. Mo found out about Quan and his other life and they decided to go their separate ways. While they were separated Mo met a guy named Boss who she really liked but he was much younger than her. Mo was finally happy hanging with Boss but at times she would think about Quan. Meanwhile Quan was back with his other woman and he decided to let her move in with him The thing I liked about this book was Mo had finally been happy in a long time for example, when she met Boss he made her completely forget about Quan and all the problems she been through. Another example is when her and her friends went out to eat she had a good time and they finally got to see her smile in a long time. They talked about Quan and how he treated her bad and Mo didn¿t feel bad talking about it. Also Mo finally got what she wanted from Boss. The part I did not like about the story was how Quan cheated and lied to Mo for example, Quan had a baby by another woman while he was with Mo. Another example is he always blamed Mo for not having a baby and made her feel guilty. Also when Mo finally found out about is other family he lied to her and told her he didn¿t have anything to do with her anymore but really he was helping her and taking care of her and giving her money. Overall Torn was a great book and I really enjoyed it.

I liked what the author was trying to do but as a movie lover & bookworm I noticed way too many Movie Quotes every time I turned around on almost every other page. TOO MANY! All in all it was a great & relative storyline I just think originality could have been up to par.

Man, so this book was sooo boring to me. I was getting more and more frustrated with the main character and her deciscions. Yeah it's a tale of what so many women go through in life, but it just took way too long for the story to pick up. It was also very predictable. I had no urge to finish the book but I did, just to see if it got any better. I must say the end of the book was nice. Like the last 40 pages? It was just too much useless back and forth.

P.S.A. have a quiet place where no one will interrupt you while reading this exciting book. I must admit the first few chapters are nerve wrecking because Mo didn't know her self worth. I love reading books that I can relate too. Better yet picturing the moments Mo was describing about her life. Most books I read once then that's it. Torn is definitely going to repeat reading.

This is my first Keisha Ervin bookd and I LOVED IT! I could not put this book down. Even though the book seems to be repetitive at times, it was a page turner...The five star reviews says it all! I will be on the look out for more by Keisha Ervin books- girl you did your thing!

This is the 2nd book I read by Keisha Ervin and I must say I really enjoy her work. The first book I read by Keisha was Gunz and Roses and I fell in love with that book. Torn was just as good, Mo and Quan had a crazy relationship. I was happy with the ending, not what I expected but I like how it turned out. I just ordered 2 other books from Keisha Ervin, I plan on reading all of her books. I think readers can really relate to her stories; the characters you either love or hate them. So far both books I've read have been love stories with some hood in them. I think Ms. Ervin will be one of my favorite authors.

To me this is Keisha Ervin's best book, I have read by her. Some parts were repetitive, but it still have u turning pages. It was so much drama between MO, Quan, and Sherry that I was confusedly TORN by it. Good work Keisha, If u keep writing like this, I'll keep reading it.

Torn was the first book I read by Keisha Ervin! I loved this book from the beggining until the end. The book reminded me so much of my own life it aint funny. I'm from St. Louis so this really hit home for me. These characters are people that I see in my everyday life. I would like to thank Keisha for giving MO that special someone. Even though this is fiction Mo gives a lil hope that Ima fine that special someone in this dog ridden town! I'm wait to fine my Boss!

This book was amazing! i read it 3 times. It had me from the first page. It's an inspiration to women all over. It goes to show just how much you'll take from the one you love! i love, love, loved the ending. But, i have to say i kind of wanted Q and Mo together a little. But, I love her and Boss together. This book made me feel like i was Mo, i felt all the emotions. When she cried i did, when she laughed i did, and etc, etc. I really want to know what happens to them after. There are so many unanswered questions. Like did Q get his son? Did Mo and Boss really last? Does Q and Mo's friendship last? And so on and so on. To me this wasn't a book at all, it was a movie! i had a vivid picture of everything going on! She really did her thing on this one! And i hope she makes a sequel!
