A contemporary fairy tale with a dirty, sexy twist! TOTAL SURRENDER is a modern, sinfully seductive take on Beauty and the Beast.

Maddux Wilder is a man consumed, a beast in a three-piece suit. Rich and powerful, he built his empire with one thought in mind: revenge against the man who killed his parents.

Except he never planned for his enemy's daughter, Arabella Cole. When the innocent, captivating beauty sacrifices herself in exchange for her father's debt, he can't resist. He'll take her freedom and his revenge, while indulging in every one of his dark desires along the way.

Making her body come to crave him in the most sinful ways is part of that plan.

Showing her the man beneath the beast wasn't.

But the more time he spends with her, the more he wonders . . . who is taming who?

(TOTAL SURRENDER is a STAND-ALONE, enemies to lovers romance. No cheating. No cliffhangers)

Wilde did a great job with this contemporary romance using the Beauty and the Beast theme. While the theme was recognizable, it still felt completely modern and believable (no magic dishes!). Belle was perfect as the updated Beauty, displaying all of the original Belle's strength and goodness. Maddux, too, was a good Beast--a good heart encased in ice due to the pain and heartbreak life had dealt him. I really liked that Wilde showed how both characters were drawn to the other but felt the cards were against them making anything of it. I liked that they both had to realize it was worth fighting for, rather than one waiting for the other to come around. I'll definitely look for more in this series!
