Overview

Touch & Geaux by Abigail Roux

After having their faces plastered across the news during a high-profile case, FBI Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett have become more useful to the Bureau posing for photo ops than working undercover. Just as Zane is beginning to consider retirement a viable option, Ty receives a distress call from a friend, leading them to a city rife with echoes from the past.

New Orleans wears its history on its streets, and it's the one place Ty's face could get him killed. Surrounded by trouble as soon as they land, Ty and Zane are swiftly confronted with a past from which Ty can't hide--one with a surprising connection to Zane's.

As threats close in from all directions, both men must come to terms with the lives they've led and the lies they've told. They soon discover that not all their secrets are out yet, and nothing lasts forever.

Love these guys - just love them!! And the fact that there are 9+ books in the series plus 3+ in other series with secondary characters make it an epic read. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. Love, sex, drama, angst, mystery and wonderful, unique characters - what more could you ask for? I read "Warrior's Cross" right after book #4 because those MC's play prominent roles in book #5 of the Cut & Run series. I also read "Shock & Awe" after book #7 because Nick and Kelly's timeline in the Sidewinder series starts right after that story about New Orleans. Then I went back to the Cut & Run and read #8 (Ball & Chain). Then I read the short "High & Tight" and then "Cross Shield" - both from the Sidewinder series. Lastly I finished back with Ty and Zane in #9 (Crash & Burn). I basically read the books from the Sidewinder series interspersed in the Cut & Run series by the date they were published.

All I have to say is . . . OMFG! Holy crap this book pulled a ringer on every emotion possible. I laughed at the expected craziness that is Zane, Ty & the Sidewinders, I felt my heart breaking when secrets were revealed and weaknesses were used against each other, I rejoiced and fell in love all over again when Zane & Ty found their strength, and then got hit with a brick at the cliffhanger ending! Holy crap! Hurry up with the next book, already. I can already feel myself going into withdrawals from the need to know . . . What happens next? Where will Zane and Ty end up? Help me!

Can't wait for the next book! Love this series! The short Sidewinder novella was amazing too. Fyi... they spelled abigail's name wrong so search it by title. Shock and Awe is the name of it.

I love this series and the characters are amazing. There were times during this novel that I despised Garrett for his actions. I love this one, but it is true - a real roller coaster of emotions. Beware - real emotions will ensue should you decide to read. :)

I've loved this series since the beginning and I've looked forward to every installment. The ending left me quite literally at the edge of my seat, screaming to an empty room. Can't wait for the next one!

Oh, dealing with the angst in this one was difficult after Stars & Stripes. But I still love Ty and Zane and I can't wait for the next one. There were some things that bothered me in this one but I still recommend it

it is great to see gay characters in roles that are regular everyday men roles. The two main characters have developed over the series of books and do not follow a sterotype. It let everyone knows that love is love even between the same sex.

What a rollercoaster ride Abigail Roux has taken us on in this book. There is laughter, angst, plenty of action, and Ty's former Spec Ops teammates. This is Zane's story; at times dark and painful, as he learns secrets Ty has kept from him, deals with some jealously issues, and has a few secrets of his own thrown into the mix. Zane's alcoholism is portrayed in a way that actually hurts as you read. Then just when you think things are sort of on an even keel (as even as it can be where Ty and Zane are nvolved: Bam! Abigail Roux hits you with a shocking surprise cliffhanger. And, yes, Ty and Zane are hotter than the weather in New Orleans, where this story takes place, with it's haunted history and the scars left by Hurricane Katrina. It makes for a steamy and atmospheric read. For readers of m/m Romance, Abigail Roux is one of the best writers in the genre. I've kind of been in love with Ty and Zane since the first book. I hope Abi writes fast, because I can't wait for the next book in the series.
