I wanted to like the book but I couldn't. The idea regarding a werebear was good but the whole thing was just badly written, I couldn't stomach reading all of it. I skimmed through or skipped large parts just so I could finish faster. This wasn't a book, it's a sample since you have to buy the actual book to read the rest. I won't be buying it. Not worth it.

It is cute and it could be so much more. The white bear character is interesting but the mystery of the female character seems too plain. She is too willing to change her life and I didn't get a good vibe on her as a person. Who is she? Does she really have nothing in her life to define her? Why is she so easily manipulated? Love at first sight? I don't buy it.

The way that it was unrealistic is that the heroine almost immediately accepted the hero even though he kidnapped her at gunpoint. She also seemed a little desperate, wanting him to stay with her.

Sorry I did not really enjoy this one. The dialogue was choppy and unbelievable. The sex scenes were not sexy. It all seemed forced to me. Will not be buying the rest of the trilogy.
