About the Author

Connie Thornell is the author of the series, Touring withTinzie Jo and Brindley. She works as an adjunct professor inthe Lone Star College System, educating future early childhoodteachers. A retired public school teacher of 36 years, Conniehas made it her life's work to serve her students. In fact, theywere her inspiration for writing the tours of Tinzie Jo andBrindley for all to enjoy.

Callan Thornell is the illustrator of the series, Touring with Tinzie Jo and Brindley. A Centennial Birthday Surprise is the second book in the series. Callan enjoys bringing characters to life through her book illustrations. She also enjoys various types of media such as clay, oil, and ink for her fine art pieces. Ms. Thornell has studied art in Italy and is currently studying to become an English or art teacher.
