In this book randal goes on a jouney and many uspecting things happen. you get scared soome times and other you just 'go how are people so stupid?' I thought it had a great ending and was very entertaining. Have a great time reading this book

I know it is not a very famous series but it rocks. It's the 2nd book of its series. Randal has broken the number one rule to wizardry, he should not use a knightly weapon to injure or kill anyone. The Regents of his school, as Randal says, patted him on the back with one hand and slapped him in the face with the other. They made him a journeyman wizard, the next step after apprenticeship, but they said he could not use magic until given permission to by a master wizard. The catch is he cannot ask any old wizard, but he has to ask Master Balpesh, a hermit who lives in a castle in the mountains near Tattinham, a city in the book. But when he gets there he finds a deadly secret within the walls of the tower that can destroy him and everything else...
