Urarmar, the son of a prominent elder in the city of Babel is being groomed to replace his father. As the city nears completion of its crowning achievement, a massive tower to unify all Mankind, Urarmar's travels bring him in conflict with his father's political ambitions for him.
Meanwhile, Urarmar's supernatural protector, Echo, has arrived to fulfill his first assignment-protect the young human. But Echo soon learns his assignment is far greater than preventing dangerous accidents when a sinister power named Moloch threatens to destroy Mankind. Now, Echo must cooperate with fellow Heavenlies to fight back the evil wiles of fallen, but powerful Heavenlies and still protect Urarmar from an untimely end.
