I need a new start. Anonymity. In a country where no one will know me, and the havoc I create.
Not all the rumors about me are true. But I made one mistake too many in LA and attending an Australian college for a few semesters is the perfect solution.
I plan on avoiding guys. But the part-time tutor and sexy Aussie artist Ashton? Has me re-evaluating the wisdom of being a reformed bad girl.
Ash is aloof, dedicated, serious, and I must corrupt him. So I seduce him. Not expecting to fall in love for the first time. And the last.
Because Ash has high standards and when he learns the truth about me, he’ll join the long list of people in my life pretending I don’t exist.

Loved this book!!!! Ashton and Dani's story is amazing! I enjoyed book 1 in this series, but LOVED book 2 Towing the Line. Dani and Ashton are both struggling to overcome their past and trying to better themselves for the future. This is a great read! I don't like to give spoilers away, but I will say Nicola Marsh did a fantastic job with the story line. The story flowed very nicely and the characters were very easy to relate to. I can not wait to read the 3rd book in this series!!!
This delightful new adult romance is the story of Dani and Ash. Dani has travelled halfway across the world to Australia in an effort to clean up her life and get serious about her future. There she meets Ash, an artist working hard to support himself and his ill mother. Though they seem to be a mismatched pair, there is an attraction between them that neither can deny and a no-strings attached affair seems like a great idea. Until they each realize that somehow their hearts have gotten involved and when Dani's time in Australia is up, going their separate ways might be harder than they thought. It was fun to read a book with a role reversal from the norm - usually the guy is cast as the playboy and the girl is on the straight and narrow. Not so with this story! Dani is the ultimate party girl - drinking, drugs and too much sex, a consequence of being a rich kid with parents who ignored her. Travelling to Australia to go to college may have been an extreme choice but it's what she needs to buckle down and make something of herself. She has a negative self image, one brought on by disastrous decisions in her past, but at heart she is a kind person who wants to make up for her mistakes. Ash on the other hand is studious, serious about his studies and his art. He's doing his best to provide for his mother's care. He is portrayed as a friendly, caring man. Meeting a beautiful girl like Dani and having a relationship with her isn't in the cards for either of them. I really liked both of these characters and how they were able to meet in the middle and enjoy each other's company. Over the course of the book they both change in positive ways and this enabled them to see each other as more than just bed buddies. The sexual attraction between them is obvious from their first meeting and the love scenes between them were a perfect blend of steamy heat and tender emotion. Overall I found this to be a quick and entertaining read with an interesting setting, likeable characters and a sweet romance. 4 stars!
Dani has been dealing with something so personally devastating its caused her to live life sleeping around and being drunk to just be numb to forget the pain. She now wants to start fresh and new, somewhere where no one knows her. She decides to go to Australia to take art classes at Melbourne University. First goal no guys. First rule broke she literally runs over a guy. Meet Ashton. He's an artist selling pieces and tutoring at Melbourne Uni to pay for his mother to live in a nursing home due to her suffering from dementia. He has no life trying to make enough money to live and pay for his mom's care. When he and Dani talk they're really comfortable with each other, they share similar back grounds and both suffer from a recent life changing event. Dani tries hard to avoid Ash and he agrees to just being friends with benefits but their chemistry is so strong, and the sex to amazing, that he can't do it. He has to figure out a way to make Dani a part of his life.
