This is not like the Spirograph that I had as a kid. I wish I would of looked into the reviews more before purchasing. The wheels sit in a frame that you have to hold down as you attempt to make your designs. You have to have the pen straight up, and it seemed the faster you went, the easier it was, however, that was not always the case. A majority of the time, I was lucky if I got half way around before the wheel got stuck. My daughter, who is 7 got very frustrated with it quickly. As for the pen, most of the colors stick, and you have to force the color it is on, back up before switching. NOT WORTH THE $20.
Attention grabbing; hours of entertainment. More than one child can work together on a project.
