Aligning layers on this insane shapeshifter needs some care as the parts are quite loose. Corner turning or speed cubing is not possible so everything needs to be aligned well before layers can be turned. It also seems to be the maximum (technically) of what's possible for 2 layers sticking out beyond the core (center cube) of the puzzle. Corner pieces that are sticking out on the last layer when scrambled up are very loose. Whoever owns the x-cube original will notice an instant difference in looseness. Having this said it's a puzzle that will keep you thinking for many hours - in order to solve the X2 -Cube one should know how to solve the x-cube original. The solving algorithms (moves) don't have anything in common with Rubik's cube solving moves. After getting past the looseness I began to really like this one! 4.5 Stars if it was possible...
