Can my review just be "Daaaaaamnnnnn"? Because it has been a day and I still haven't sorted out how to put my love for this book into words. Like trying to describe the love you have for your kid to someone who hasn't had one. It is just deep and undescribable. There just aren't words. This book will break your heart, but give you hope that even when you can't forgive yourself and think you have to go at it alone, the right person will be there to back you up and build you up. At the end you will close it, stare at the cover, and know deep in your heart these characters became a part of you.

Denise at her best. Neely Kate is facing her demons from her past and Jed is helping her out. It's incredible how Denise can keep you reading until the of the book and let you wanting for more. Neely Kat and Jed are two interesting characters in all the Rose Gardner' s universe and it's getting more and more interesting to know more about all of them and how the story goes.

Denise smashes another home run with Neely Kate Rivers and Jed Carlisle. A fantastic match of intrigue, power, anguish, shame, loyalty and love. You'll find yourself unable to put it down.

Loved learning more about Neely's history and what made her who she is but also sad at the same time. Definitely think Jed is the man for her and am looking forward to hopefully seeing a relationship develop between them as the series progresses. All in all very well written and adds to the Rose Gardner series.

This book was even better than I expected. I LOVE Neely Kate- seriously- we all need a NK in our lives!! But reading “her” side… I don’t know the author does it. I am completely drawn into every single (main) character in this series. Getting to see inside Neely Kate was just icing on the top of an already incredible series. And Jed?? Oh my, JED. LOVE Jed… and even more after reading this! Great job Denise Grover Swank! While this is the first of the ‘Neely Kate’ series… there are many previous books in the entire Rose Gardner series. I do recommend reading the other books as opposed to jumping in right here. If you are confused (because there are a few novellas thrown in there as well) go to the author’s website and see the order of how you should read them. You won’t regret it, I promise. And you can blame me when your eyes are blood-shot from staying up late reading them all. (But don't blame me for your bank account after you keep hitting "buy now" on your e-reader!!) These books are really good. There is mystery, romance, action, drama… at times you will find your mouth hanging open, shocked at what happened and other times your heart will be breaking for whatever character you are reading about. I can hardly wait until the next book!

Trailer Trash was beyond my wildest expectations. Absolutely LOVED it!!! Neely Kate broke my heart so many times. And Jed...WOW...He is just awesome. I'm swooning for him hard core. Excited for their relationship to evolve. Neely Kate deserves a man who will treat her right and I know that Jed will. Can't wait for more!!!

Neely Kate’s first novel exceeded my expectations. Trailer Trash definitely feels like a new series with new problems, new dynamics, and a new and fresh story line but it also has all the great and familiar characters I love from the two Rose Gardner series. Neely Kate has developed so much from when she was first introduced very early in the Rose Gardner Mystery series and it is amazing to see just how far she has actually come. This book highlights that and also divulges into the secret past she is always trying to ignore so you finally get to see what makes her who she is today. I love that this book was definitely all her own. While there were references to Rose, this book was focused on NK and the whole feel of the book was different than a Rose book. It’s easy to see her personality showing through and I thought it was great. I can’t wait for Neely Kate to continue her series after Rose’s new book, For the Birds. Trailer Trash is definitely a great beginning to this new series.

I have always loved the character of Neely Kate from day one at the courthouse for jury duty with Rose. She has been a hoot to read along with Rose and their escapades. I was so excited to learn she not only got a full length book, but the start of a side line series of her own. We know through the Rose Gardner Mysteries that Neely Kate has had a tough upbringing but this book explains so much more to her background and why she became the strong woman she is today. This journey into her past was not one she wanted to make but with Kate's letters, she had no choice. So many pieces were uncovered that she just wanted to keep buried. To help her face those demons of the past was Jed......Oh Jed! He has earned a lot of brownie points in my opinion. Who'd ever thought Jed could smile?!! But being with Neely Kate brings out a different side to him. We knew he had a soft spot for Rose in a protective way, bit this is entirely different what he feels for Neely Kate. Parts of her story is so heartbreaking that I was glad Jed was there for her. Thank you Denise for allowing us to know her full story, and also for adding the bonus chapter of Jed's POV at the end. My fingers are crossed for this couple.

Trailer Trash by Denise Grover Swank is the Neely Kate story we've all been clamoring for! I've always admired Neely Kate for being so incredibly strong even with the things that have happened to her. Getting to look into her past has been one heck of a journey. Her half-sister Kate intends to reveal Neely Kate's secrets to the world, things which she'd rather keep hidden. This book will have you happy crying, ugly crying, feeling enraged, and cheering for Neely Kate all the while. Neely Kate has two new men in her life, one her half-brother in Joe Simmons, and the other an unexpected romantic interest in Jed Carlisle. She doesn't *need* either one of them, and that's why I feel like the presence of both of them is wonderful for Neely Kate. Joe gives her the kind of safe relationship she's never had before... he's the protective older brother. Jed gives her the possibility of a romantic interest that has naturally evolved over MANY books. I've always liked Jed because he's as loyal as he is a skilled bodyguard for Skeeter Malcolm. Both relationships present tons of potential. Neely Kate just has to let herself trust the people who love her, Rose Gardner included. To really know Neely Kate, this book is a MUST READ for fans of the world of Rose Gardner. Knowing that this is the first of (hopefully) many more standalone books from Neely Kate's point of view is thoroughly exciting! She's a fierce woman, and an equally fierce friend, and I can't wait to see her journey continue.
