Michael Parris came to Canada in 1988 and served faithfully in an established denomination for 15 years after which he requested permission to start a local church. Permission was denied repeatedly for the next 5 years. By this time he was 58 years old and running out of time to fulfill his destiny.

The greatest tragedy in life is failing to fulfill your destiny and Michael did not want to become a failure. Destiny was calling and it is always better to obey God rather than man. Led by the Holy Spirit, Michael left the denomination and launched out on his own.

About the Author

Pat and Pamela Johnson were born in British Guiana in the early 1960's. They grew up in the town of New Amsterdam where they attended the same church and high school. They were married in 1986 and migrated to Canada in 1989. Pat held credentials as an Ordained Minister with Kingsway Fellowship International, USA, the Church of God of Cleveland, Tennessee, USA and the Independent Assemblies of God in Canada. Pamela held credentials with Kingsway Fellowship International, USA.

Pat and Pamela are the founders Canadian Christian Ministries the fastest growing fellowship of Ministers in Canada. They are also the authors of two Christian motivational books, "Eyes To See" and "Yes You Can", published by Derek Press, a subsidiary of Pathway Press, Cleveland, Tennessee, USA.
