Veteran Transformers comic writer Simon Furman returns with a reinvisioning of the original group of Cybertronians that will knock your socks off. No longer burdened by the need to seem dumbed-down for younger audiences, Furman takes a darker, more threatening approach to the world of the Transformers. Moral differences between comrades, murder, lies and deceit plague both Autobot and Decepticon alike in a powerful comeback for the franchise. With stellar artwork and more realized characterizations, Infiltration as well as the rest of the IDW Generation 1 lineup is an adventure you don't want to miss.

First off, I love the artwork. Now, as far as plot goes, it may not seem like much but that's because it's part of a continuity. If anything, it gets you hooked and makes you want to read the comics that come after it. I liked the character development, especially for Verity. If you plan on reading All Hail Megatron, I would definitely suggest reading this comic (and Escalation, Revelation and Devastation) first because it all ties in to AHM.
