Jack Strafford, an aging action-adventure star, has undergone a radical genetic treatment to get the role of a lifetime. Instead, the role has literally become his life, as he is unable to afford to reverse the procedure. Trapped in a half-human body, he must reluctantly explore what it means to truly be human as he navigates the legal, mental, and political hazards of being one of the first to see the world through alien eyes.
