This book is my favorite book. It tells the stories of so many donor families and you get a perspective of what other families go through, along with the patient themselves. Most importantly to me, it gave me a side of my grandmother I never realized was there. While I read the book I felt her pain, and cried for her. This book lets me in on a part of her life I didn't get to see all of. Thank you Pat for writing this book. I miss Grandma so much!
