About the Author

Beverley discovered her love of books while growing up in, the then, small city of Barrie, Ontario Canada. With her love of books and romance, she always wished that everyone would find their happily ever after. She currently writes sexy historical, new adult and contemporary romances.

As the mother of one too bright and mischievous young boy, she pulls full-time duty on all fronts. When she's not writing full-time, running The Season review website or mothering, she's probably reading or sleeping and dreaming of a time when she'll have time for her favorite hobbies: knitting, crocheting and sewing.

Beverley has lived on two continents, in three countries, two provinces, and four states. She stopped her nomadic existence and settled in the southeast. All things artistic feed her creative passion, but none more than writing. Readers can visit her at:

The Trap is the Novella prequel for Trapped, but it isn't necessary to read prior to this one. However, it does give a back story as to what Mitch and Paige went thru to get where they are and I do highly recommend reading it prior to beginning Trapped. I did like this book and after reading the prequel, I tried really hard to love it. But I couldn't love it as much as the prequel. The prequel had something going on at every turn of the page that I expected the same to happen with this book. Trapped failed to maintain the drama level that the prequel did. Don't get me wrong, it had it's drama. But not the same level as what I was expecting. I was expecting a bigger fight between Mitch and Paige. Especially since Paige had become this stonger, more independent woman. I was expecting more resistance, more stubborness from her. There was a bit but not very much. I understand she did what she thought was best for Bree, they both did. But every situation like this, fiction or not, has a lot more drama than what this book did. Especially the way things ended in The Trap. I did like this story though. Things between Mitch and Paige happened a lot sooner than I thought they would. I wanted to see Mitch struggle a bit more with that, just because he deserved it. I also didn't understand Trent's role in this book. The best male friend that wasn't around much. But the tension between him and Mitch was there in the few times they ran into each other. Why not play off of that and run with it? I thought we would see more from him and maybe more confrontation between him, Mitch and possibly Paige. I didn't expect the ending, that threw me for a bit. It was kind of out of left field. But then again, there wasn't too much of Mitch's home life included in the prequel. Again, I did like this book. I just struggled to love it. This storyline had so much potential with the direction it was heading. But, it failed to pick up the little drama queens on the side road just itching to make it make so much better. This will definitely not deter me from reading anymore of Beverley Kendall's books. She's a great writer and I look forward to more from her.

I loved this book. It's sweet and sexy and heart warming with a touch of laughter and tears and throw in a little intrigue. The chemistry between Mitch & Paige in off the charts HOT! Beverley must have a grandchild of her own because the way she describes Bree and the things she does, I can actually see in my mind down to the way she looks, giggles, babbles and plays. Lol. Mitch starts out as an ass but eventually comes around and makes one hell of a man. Paige is a strong, beautiful determined woman with a heart the size of Texas. The surprise at the end of the book really shocked me but also made me cry. But a feel good cry. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

After reading the intro (a separate short story) I wasn't sure I would like this book... But, I liked it very much... Also thought it would be too young for me (a grandmother) but it wasn't... A very true to life story line of young love and too young parenthood... Some step up to the plate and some don't... This was a story of one who did and one who didn't and what Bree brought to a family of many secrets... Recommend BOTH books...

I real ly liked this series! Paige was in love with Mitch since sophomore year but soon he would be leaving for college. Paige  worried that Mitch would find someone else . Mitch left his sisters home after finding out Paige was pregnant. There are many more twists in this story a few left me gasping! This series was well worth reading! The author does a very good job leading you along ,not a lot of filler or fluff to make the book longer.

The book was well-written and very enjoyable to read. I love a little drama The story moved along at a really easy pace and there was a surprise twist at the end I didn't see coming at all. I love all of her books! Kendall is an excellant writter. Great characters, real situations, deep emotions. You can experience the heartache, anger, pain, forgiveness and love the characters are experiencing. Silly little things that bothered me though in this book were the age inappropriate descriptions/actions of the baby. At 6mo old she probably wouldn't be feeding herself applesause, or playing with Mr. Potatoe head. But still a great read. Read The Trap first.

Emotional, sweet, and containing a totally unexpected secret, Trapped was a fantastic New Adult read. I really liked this book. After reading The Trap (the prequel to this book), I wondered how the author would make the romance work. But, she not only did it, but did it well and I ended up really enjoying this book. Paige was a lovely heroine. She was a kind character who always looked for the best in people and had a great capacity for forgiveness. And, she was also strong, knew her own self-worth, and wasn't about to let Mitch back into her life without him proving himself. I thought she was a very likable character. Mitch made the mistake of his life, leaving his pregnant girlfriend and missing out on the first months of his daughter's life. At the start of the book, I didn't know if he would be able to find his way into my good graces. But, he definitely redeemed himself. He knew he messed up and knew he had to prove that he deserved forgiveness and I think he managed to do just that. Plus, I thought it was adorable how sweet he was with little baby Brianna (who was just so cute). By the end of the book, I absolutely loved him. The romance was great. It developed realistically, with Paige slowly coming to trust Mitch again. They were clearly meant for each other and they managed to survive one hell of an obstacle. And, the definitely had some steamy chemistry between them. I thought they were a lovely couple. The plot was fast-paced and I was hooked the entire way through.  There was a huge secret revealed at the end that I never saw coming. It was hinted at, but it still came as a surprise to me. For fans of Beverley Kendall's other series (Unforgettable You) those characters get a cameo in this book. I really enjoyed the story and the ending was perfect. Trapped was a wonderful New Adult romance. It was sweet, emotional, and just lovely. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Romance lovers, this is a book you'll want to check out. *I received a complimentary copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review

Paperback (edit) review Oh my gosh, where to start... First of all this book was everything I hoped it would be. I was a total Paige fan when I read "The Trap" (prequel to Trapped), but I grew to love Mitch just as much in this book. I love how all the characters in the book were brought into the story. I totally love what the author did with Mitch's sister and brother-in-law. I loved the two best friends part too. I love seeing characters from the Unforgettable series. That was fun! I have felt a connection to both books "The Trap" and "Trapped" from the very beginning and "Trapped lived up to my high expectation all the way through. I couldn't have hoped for a better HEA! Thank you Beverley Kendall for another great book. I can't wait until Josh and Erin's book come out!

Oh Boy! Mitch has A LOT of making up to do to win me over after his douchenozzle moment. Almost a year later and Mitch STILL has not come to terms that he is just as responsible for getting his girlfriend pregnant knowing about her birth control or not. It takes TWO to have a baby. Paige is trying to move on and has to because her first focus is her loving baby Brianna. She had hopes that Mitch would come back but after almost a year it is time to move on. After finally taking his head out of the sand Mitch makes a 180º and mans up to his responsibility however, things are not going to be easy for him after the mess he created. As Paige tries to move on she doesn't expect Mitch to show up out of nowhere. Her anger that was simmering comes to a boil where Mitch is concerned if only she could convince her libido and heart to be on the same page. There is a lot of making up but Mitch wants to be a father and he also realizes what a mistake he made where it concerns Paige because he has never stopped loving her. He vows to win them over. Paige has a lot of emotions to go through if she even thinks of giving in to Mitch. Trusting him not to break her heart is hard especially after he left her when she was 10 weeks pregnant and never turned back. I will admit Mitch did win me over ! This was a sweet NA book about second chances and love.
