About the Author
Melissa Morrissey has been an educator for more than twenty years, working primarily with special-needs students. She holds degrees from Eastern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and University of Illinois Springfield. Her other books are "Shawna's Sparkle" and "Einstein the Science Dog: Lost and Found." She is currently the Director of Special Education at the Hope Institute in Springfield, Illinois. She lives with her husband Ted. Together they have five adult children, one grandchild, and two rescue dogs.
