When Jack's a Very Good Boy is a Mother Goose Rhyme which talks about a boy name Jack tells about when he is good he will receive cakes and custard and when he cries he shall have nothing but mustard.I enjoyed this rhyme because it paints a picture to children of if they are good they will have good rewards but if they are not so good they will receive only those things that are sour or bad.Can read when talking about how to treat your friends, can have children draw pictures of whatthey think a treat will be for being nice, can have children draw a picture of what they think their rewards will be for not being so nice.
