The seventh and final tale in the dazzling, heartwarming, and pulse-racing Weekday Brides series.

Gabriella Masini: She’s a woman haunted by her past, with the scars to prove it. She believes that fairy tales are for other people. An elite matchmaker at Alliance, she’s great at crunching numbers, but something doesn’t add up with her latest prospective client: a billionaire bad boy with his own secrets. When Gabi refuses to be his temporary wife, Hunter forces her hand with an offer she can’t refuse. But marriage to a man like that could never last…or could it?

Hunter Blackwell: Only his bank account is bigger than his ruthless ability to obtain anything he wants. These days, he has a secret reason to settle down, at least for a while—and he thinks the sensual and sassy Gabi will fit the bill perfectly. But when their marriage of convenience becomes downright dangerous, Hunter must decide how far to take his vow to honor and protect Gabi forever.

Loved! This! Book! Hate that the series is over but what a great book to end with. And the hint of some holiday brides definitely makes me smile!! Only Catherine Bybee can write a story with a lead male character you just want to loathe, but in the end you love! Hunter is as ruthless as they come and proves it by blackmailing Gabi into being his bride. Gabi's life has been anything but easy. How hard can it be to endure the next 18 months married to Hunter. But when her past comes back to haunt her, Hunter knows he will do whatever he needs to do to keep her safe. Could this sham of a marriage turn into more??? I highly recommend this one for everyone's must read list!

Loved this final book in the Weekday Bride series! Poor Gabi gets put through the ringer again, physically from the drug lord connected with her deceased husband, and emotionally from her "temporary" husband, Hunter, who had blackmailed her into marrying him. Needless to say, love prevails. My book boyfriend Neil helped out in this one, too!

Catherine Bybee is one of those authors readers hate, and I mean that in the best way possible. Once you start reading her books, you aren't going to want to put them down, resulting in loss of sleep, ignoring the world around you, and forgetting to eat. Then you end up tired and hungry. But at least your reading need is satisfied. Gabriella “Gabi” Masini has lived a sheltered life, tucked comfortably on her brother’s private island resort, off the coast of Florida. When the first man to come along shows her attention, she jumps head first into a relationship. Unfortunately, the relationship wasn’t what Gabi hoped it would be and the result was deadly. Needing to put her life back together, she becomes an employee of Alliance (a high end matchmaking service) and moves to California. Hunter Blackwell is an arrogant, shrewd billionaire business man. He’s listed as one of Forbes top eligible bachelors. Even with his status, he needs a wife, fast. He turns to Alliance to find the perfect short term wife. Gabi is put in charge of vetting Hunter to see if he is a good match for the company. When Gabi turns down Hunter’s request, he refuses to take no for an answer. Hunter turns to blackmail, to get want he wants and he wants Gabi to be his wife. The two enter into a contract that will help get what Hunter wants most and guarantee a safe and secure future for Gabi. The contract calls for an exclusive relationship with no bedroom action involved. Well, of course, that part of the contract flies out the window. When Gabi finds out the true reason for Hunter needing a wife, she can’t help but fall for this man who only shows his true self to her. Hunter is use to playing his cards close to the vest. He isn’t prepared for the feelings Gabi unleashes in him. He never expected to fall in love with her. He definitely never expected to want a forever with her. Admittedly, Hunter is a little hard to like in the beginning. What he does to Gabi is inexcusable. But when he inadvertently brings Gabi’s dangerous past to their front door, he will move heaven and Earth to keep her safe. There is so much going on in this book. In fact, at times, it seems as if the two only have themselves and the former Alliance couples to rely on. But the tangled web is what makes this book so good. Catherine never fails to write a romance that will have you rooting for and becoming invested in the characters. She has this ability to bring heart pounding moments that suck you in and at times have you holding onto the edge of your seat. Treasured by Thursday is once again an incredible story. However, this one probably is better if you read the previous book, Seduced by Sunday, since thorough background details regarding Gabi and her situation are given. If you choose to not read the previous book, it’s okay, you just won’t have all of the background information up front. Treasured by Thursday is the final book in Catherine Bybee’s Weekday Brides series. She does a fantastic job of bringing back all the past couples and giving you a look into their lives today. **Received a copy from Montlake Romance in exchange for an honest unbiased opinion.**

I have only had a chance to read two books in The Weekday Brides series and they were both awesome. Treasured by Thursday captivated my attention and kept me completely engaged to the very end. I know I certainly would love the chance to read more books in this series. Gabriella Masini is a strong lady but life has sure thrown her plenty of problems to test her strength. Gabi is sweet and caring but also has built huge walls around her heart. She loves her family and her friends and would do anything for them. She has suffered at the hands of a monster and has fought a brave fight to overcome massive fears. I found an instant connection with Gabi. I cheered her courage, felt her fear, and gloried in her accomplishments and joy. I have to admit I wasn't sure I liked Hunter Blackwell at the beginning of the book. I thought he was a pushy guy that was rich enough to get anything and everything he wanted without a thought to how it affected anyone else. The more I read though the more I found to really like the guy. Hunter is a nice guy at heart, he just doesn't always know how to show it. Hunter needs a wife and finds a way to convince Gabi it would be beneficial for her too. Their marriage was suppose to be in name only with no feelings and no romance. I enjoyed watching these two get to know each other and discover their attraction to each other. There are several moments of suspense and a huge amount of danger. Catherine Bybee has created a story that had me clinging to the edge of my seat, holding my breath, and flipping pages quickly to see what was going to happen next. Twist and turns are plentiful and each twist added to the speed of my turning pages. I loved the security team that helps watch over Gabi. If I was in need of security I would want this team to have my back. They know what they are doing and have all those great gadgets that are so creative. Treasured by Thursday is full of drama, suspense, romance, love, family, friendship, laughter, and a steamy scene or two. I love when family is involved in a story and Gabi's family plays a nice roll in this story. I will be on the look out for more books by Catherine Bybee. I enjoyed her charismatic characters, creative storyline, and she has a nice writing style that I enjoyed reading. Oh and I can't forget to mention that beautiful cover! Doesn't that just make you want to pick it up and start reading. I love when a great story is enclosed inside a beautiful cover. I was given the opportunity to read Treasured by Thursday so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on this great book.

Most of the time, I’ll tell you that you don’t need to have read the previous stories in a series to enjoy a book, but unfortunately this time I think it makes a difference. We met Gabi in Seduced by Sunday and a lot of her history from that story impacts this one and I’m afraid you might be missing out on a lot by not having that information. But really, these stories are so good that it shouldn’t be a hardship :) Every time I read one of these I think that I’ve met the couple that I love the most …. then I read the next book. I already knew I’d love Gabi based on Sunday (and just by the fact that she is one of Bybee’s brides) but Hunter turned out to be great too. He does change his tune pretty quickly after meeting Gabi but I don’t think he’s had someone with quite as much sass in his life before. He’s also going thru a lot of other things, hence his need for a “bride”, which probably helped him want to take a good look at himself as well. I liked him right off, regardless of how big a jerk he could be, and watching him fall for Gabi was a lot of fun. Gabi was dealt a HUGE hit in Sunday so it was great to see her finding a spark inside and be willing to stand up to Hunter. He needed someone to give him a little grief and she’s got it in her to be that person. I laughed and huffed and smiled and shook my head at the two of them as they dance around each other on their way to a relationship. The suspense portion was fantastic. (I’m not sure how these people keep getting themselves into these situations …) But Gabi’s related back to Sunday and gave a nice book end to her story. Although you knew everything was going to turn out well for them in the end, there were a couple of moments that had me holding my breath. The ending, both with the bad guy and Gabi & Hunter’s relationship, was perfect. She showed how far she’d come and he’s wonderful coming to the rescue. I have to say I fell even more for him in the last chapter but you’re just going to have to read it to find out why :) Y’all have no idea how sad I am to see this series end, although I was thrilled to have all of my favorites show back up and give us updates on their lives. And a little good news, Bybee hints at a new series coming and I’m sure it is going to be great! (Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review)

Treasured by Thursday is the final book in the Weekday Brides series from Catherine Bybee. I've enjoyed each and every book in the series to day and was a little bit sad as I read knowing it was the end of the series. I love getting to visit with favorite characters with each new installment of the series, and loved we got to see everyone in Treasured by Thursday. I have to be honest and admit while I really liked Gabi from the very beginning; it took some time for me to warm up to Hunter. I just felt like he was keeping too many secrets from Gabi and he really seemed almost cold when they first met. Luckily, it quickly became apparent that there was so much more to Hunter than what he initially let Gabi see. I really did love watching both Hunter's and Gabi's feelings change the more time they spent together. I liked their chemistry took time to grow, and it felt real to me. I loved once Hunter realized his true feelings for Gabi he became even more protective of her than even her brother. He would do anything to keep her safe, and he proved it over and over again. I also could tell Gabi had real feelings for Hunter when he shared his secret reason for wanting to marry her and she did everything in her power to make everything work out. Treasured by Thursday was a wonderful end to the Weekday Brides series. Readers were treated with appearances by all the other couples in the series. I honestly felt like each of the 7 books in the series were great reads and as a series were even better. Review copy provided by publisher

WOW!!! And that's how you end a series with a bang. I have to confess that I am still speechless after finishing the book so you have to forgive me if my review is up to standard. I am just simply still reeling. In true Catherine Bybee fashion, the book is intriguing and entertaining. It is a roller coaster of feelings and action that will catch you from the beginning and it won't release yo till the last word. The characters are very well developed and have an incredible depth that will allow you to experience their emotions and turmoils. Gabi is an incredible character and if I have to be honest probably one of my favorite female leads in all the Weekday Brides books. If you've read the previous books you know the nightmare she lived through. And if you haven't I will just let slip that she was viciously betrayed by a person she trusted, a person she loved. And that betrayal nearly cost her her life. So of course she is cautious of men and probably a little bit of a recluse. She has huge trust issues and triggers that still terrify her. But she is also incredibly strong. Somehow in the aftermath she managed to pull herself together and find the strength to survive. And that definitely takes guts. And even though she still a way to go, her sass shows up on occasion and makes for quite interesting banter ;) But it did take an extraordinary man to help her heal. Hunter is an incredible character in his own right. Although, I have to confess that I definitely didn't like him in the beginning. He was quite the manipulative as*hole and I definitely didn't care much for him in the beginning. But did he change my mind. With every page, a new side of him was revealed. He showed compassion and tenderness and even vulnerability. Even his reasons for needing Gabi's help were somewhat noble. Even if he wen't for it the wrong way. And Gabi was definitely a positive influence on him. She managed to show him that there are people in the world you can actually depend on and trust with your life. In a way, Hunter and Gabi, are just perfect for each other because they helped each other heal and overcome their issues. Unfortunately, both Gabi and Hunter's pasts are like mine fields that will explode with every wrong step. And in some cases, that could be deadly. Especially in Gabi's case. I have to say that I really loved that suspenseful flavor of the story. In addition to the romance and emotion, it was a big part of what made the book intriguing and the action fast paced. And just to lift the mood a little bit more, there are few quite humorous scenes that made me laugh out loud. A big plus for me was that I also got to revisit all of the previous couple. I just loved finding out what each couple is up to and how their lives have changed since they got their HEA. It is true that the snippets were short for some couples but it was still quite cool :) And with that, I think I am pretty much done with my review. I loved reading this book. The story is simply amazing and I couldn't put it down. In a way I just didn't want it to finish, it was that good. And I am also a little bit sad because this was the last book in the Weekday Brides series which one of my favorite series ever. But as they say, every good thing has an end. And this was a da*n good end :) This review was originally posted at Living In Our Own Story Book Blog. I received an ARC of the book in exchange of an honest review.

Catherine Bybee really knows how to finish strong. I have loved her Weekday Brides series, each and every book has been an incredible stand-alone read, but the core characters continue to be such a support to one another you really get the sense of their strong friendship which has built with each new book in the series and enhanced my reading experience. Especially in this seventh and last book, TREASURED BY THURSDAY, where all the women connected with the Alliance matchmaking service, and their men, rally behind Gabrielle Masini due to the torture she survived at the hands of her ex in book number six. Ms. Bybee provides more than enough backstory to read and enjoy Treasured by Thursday on its own merits, but I highly recommend this whole series and in the very least, book six, Seduced by Sunday. Gabi is the younger sister of the sexy Italian, Valentino Masini, and led a very sheltered and protected life… until due to her innocence and longing for a life and family of her own, she was fooled and kidnapped by a man who sought to use her family’s remote island location for his own gain. Now some time has passed and this story begins with her working Samantha at Alliance. Very much her own woman and building a new life for herself as an integral part of the agency. She has regained her confidence and she finally feels in charge of her own life, although she is still not ready to trust men enough to date. It’s impossible not to admire and root for Gabi, despite her history she carries herself with grace and elegance, while showing herself a formidable opponent in the business of love. Hunter never stood a chance. Hunter Blackwell is an old business associate and casual friend of Samantha’s husband, Blake. He uses that old connection to get an interview for help quickly finding a suitable wife to resolve some family issues. Hunter is a ruthless “zillionaire” (the only part of the book I felt was over the top) use to getting his way and so when Gabi turns him down for not meeting Alliance’s client standards he plays dirty. When she won’t match him, he uses blackmail to force the beautiful Gabi to marry him herself. Despite the need to despise Hunter in the beginning for preying on Gabi’s vulnerability, it was impossible from the start not to feel their strong chemistry. Gabi and Hunter were each a challenge to the other and clearly a perfect match. The dialogue between these two was sublime. Gabi was sassy, witty and made Hunter work for every request he made of her, but that same wit and style melted his hard heart and won his respect. Who knew “throw yourself in front of a bus” would be more effective than sweet words of love to make a man fall all over himself to please his woman? Treasured by Thursday is a great romance with a happy ending, but in keeping true with the Weekday Brides series there is plenty of danger, suspense and bad guys to make the story even better. Bybee’s books are never just romantic fluff and like the others, Treasured by Thursday will keep you on the edge turning the pages until you know all is well. I loved this book, but am sorry for such a great series to end. 4.5 stars ~Complimentary copy downloaded from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

I was so happy to see Gabi get a story. Her history from the last book was so heartbreaking that I wanted to see her get her happy ending. The circumstances under which her relationship with Hunter began were shady and sad, but the character development that evolved bringing them closer was so worth it. The story was compelling with a wonderful cast of supporting characters. I have only read the last two in the series and have every intention of grabbing the first five, but I’m still a little sad to see it end. Good thing there’s more to explore from Catherine Bybee! Treasured by Thursday is an intense and emotional read full of suspense and sweetness. It’s a lovely end to a great series.

I am sad to say that this series is now officially over. The Weekday Brides Series by Catherine Bybee has always been a series of sweet romance books that I knew would make my heart beat faster, my eyes tear up, and keep me awake late at night having to keep reading. With each book I met new friends, were reacquainted with old friends, and fell in love with the male heroes. In Treasured by Thursday we learn the rest of Gabi’s story. When we left her in Seduced by Sunday she had just moved to the states after a disastrous marriage to a drug smuggler. I felt for her then and still had those feelings picking up her story. I was excited to jump into her story and find out if she could ever trust again, if she could find happiness, and most importantly if she could find love. When Hunter comes into her work the sparks flew. The attraction was obvious, yet the weariness from Gabi was expected. While I did not love that she had to give in to Hunter, I loved that Hunter seemed to want to show her respect from the beginning of their relationship. He did not push her to give more than what she was willing and accepted what she was willing to give. I felt like this was the perfect ending to the series. Catherine Bybee tied up the loose ends with the other characters, letting the reader know what they were up to while not taking away from the main characters. Each couple from the previous books made an appearance while adding to the current story. This is certainly a series that has to be read. I recommend reading the books in order but each can be read as a standalone also.

Treasured by Sunday (Book #7) was a great finale to Catherine Bybee’s Weekday Bride contemporary romance series. Even though I enjoyed the entire collection, this one was absolutely my favorite. Thank you, Ms. Bybee, for providing all the elements I love in a romance: Cartel backdrop, angst, suspense, alpha male hero in need of love and redemption, and a beautiful but broken strong, sassy heroine – all within an engaging plot and writing that flows seamlessly. As always, your refreshingly romantic, classy book covers are very much appreciated, as well. This reviewer prefers class over skin on her romantic reads. If there is such a thing as “romance book cover visual ab fatigue,” I know I have it. Here’s to hoping others afflicted speak up to help bring awareness to the cause. Seldom do I reread a series, but I am finding myself wanting to go back and revisit the all characters and their romantic HEAs as they unfold in each of these great standalone romances . I highly suggest you do the same.
