I bought this for my husband and he has greatly enjoyed it. Good reference book.
Chuck Fergus has written a fine companion to his Wildlife of Pennsylvania and the Northeast. I read it a few pages at a time but found it to be very informative about trees and their place in the state's ecology and economy. This is not a field guide but more of a handbook for those who want to learn more than what can be found in a field guide.
