Book #3 in the Chastity Falls Series
When Ana revealed her suspicions to Jackson about the circumstances surrounding his father’s death, she never expected it to be the catalyst for a series of events that could change everything. It was supposed to save him, not push him away. But now Ana is left watching the person she loves more than anything, lose himself to vengeance.
Jackson has spent most of his life loyal to the man he calls Uncle. But since learning that Marcus Donohue might have been responsible for the death of his father, Jackson is consumed with the need for revenge. Even if it means hurting the people he loves, and going against everything he believes in, to uncover what happened.
Will the truth finally set Jackson free or will it ruin his last chance at happiness with Ana… and a life out from under the shadows of the Donohues?
Tribulations will be overcome, truths will be revealed. Welcome to Chastity Falls.

Intense, Secretive and suspenseful. This is still full of secrets and angst, every time one question gets answered so more pop up. The relationship is strained because of all that's going on, at times you wonder if they will be strong enough to survive. I am completely hooked now on this series, I wasn't sure if this story could comfortably stretch into five books plus a couple of novellas but somehow it works. I thought it would get boring or tedious and I would not want to finish, but instead I am now starting book four. The twists and turns make me a little dizzy sometimes but this becomes compelling reading. It is well written and though these are college kids they do at times seem much more adult, I guess due to all the goings on. Great reading but you do need to read all the books and in order, they are not stand alone and each follows on from the previous book.
After reading Salvation and Secrets I was very much looking forward to reading this book. By the end of the last book my heart was already breaking more and more for Jackson and Ana as I could see that they had more hard times coming their way. I was definitely not disappointed. Jackson was battling his demons while Ana was just trying to keep him afloat. I so felt for this couple and kept wishing that they could just get a break. I'm glad that they finally got their HEA. Though I have to say that ending... now I need to read Braiden's story!
What a great ending for Jax and Ana! My heart broke for Ana and Jax in this last installment because just when they can finally be together, the work Marcus has Jax doing is tearing them apart. Jackson is pulling away from Ana to protect her and she is left lonely knowing that revenge is slowly killing Jackson. Revenge seems to be the only reason Jackson is functioning at all. I loved how she tried to keep him grounded so that he didn't completely lose himself in the black hole he was in. Dennis continued to be one of my favorites and his bond with Jackson strengthened through this story. I wish we'd get his story too! All in all, this rollercoaster was totally worth the ride and it was a great ending for Jax and Ana. I'm looking forward to reading Braiden's story now that he is out of jail! Love these Chastity Falls characters!
I was (not so) patiently waiting for this book to come out. The first two in the series are great and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. Well, this book did not disappoint. It was nerve wracking, sweet, heart wrenching, and captivating all in one story. This picked up where Book 2 ended and continued with the issues Ana and Jackson had been dealing with since Ana started school. This took us deeper into Jackson’s “family” and we finally get to see just what he has gotten himself into. I could feel the characters heartache as well as their joy as the story went on. This was definitely worth the wait. If you have not read this series, you really need to!
