Ana woke to total darkness. She tried to recall what had happened to make her end up...wherever she was. She had an awful pain in her right shoulder, and it was only when she tried to get up that she guessed where was. In the bottom of the shaft. The one that had appeared in her room after she pushed the button on the mysterious remote. She also remembered what she had wondered earlier: who was agent Z?

She must have forgotten how deep it was. It looked ten or so feet up to the top of the shaft- a very rough estimate, since it was so shadowy and dark.

Then she heard someone calling her name from up above...
[ [ ? ] ]
"Ana? Where are you...I want you to play with me!" Key was really confused now. Where had his sister gone? She had been in the room a minute ago, he was sure. He had heard her running around in there, but when he came in she was gone. Just like that. He wanted her to play with him...why was she hiding? Was she playing hide and seek? He wanted to play Pirates, not hide and seek. Then he saw the big hole in the floor. It was all dark at the bottom. Mommy had fallen asleep, then Ana had wandered off...why would no one play with him? "Ana!!! Play with me!" He yelled. Any second she wouod come out and say yes, and he would go get his pirate dress-up stuff, and they would play. "Aa-naaaa!"
