Review by Marlene Engel It's been six years since Scott made a move for Miranda and then left without so much as a good-bye. Her quiet world is about to go into a tail-spin when he resurfaces with his daughter; a child that no one had any clue about. Left with even more questions than before, this starts a series of less than stellar choices on her part. As a poetry professor at a New England college, Miranda is used to letting her emotions flow on paper. But when she begins putting together poems on Scrabble boards and posting them online as the Blocked Poet she is shocked to find that they’ve gone viral. Never in a million years did she expect that so many people would be following her posts, or that a company would request that she go public. I love the concept of poetry on Scrabble boards. I love words and I love creativity. So to incorporate poetry on a platform such as a word game board is art at its finest. A fun romance novel with an engaging storyline, witty characters and some surprises that you would never had expected.
