For full disclosure, I haven't read the book - I got the sample so that I could see if it was worth the money to buy, since my preferred reef identification books apparently aren't available via Nook Book yet. I gave it 3 stars because I really don't know what the book is like because this was the WORST SAMPLE EVER. It's a shame that such useless sample of what may be a perfectly good book is offered to potential buyers. The sample claims to be 11 pages long - here's the breakdown of the pages: (1) Blank - not a pixel on it other than the "1 of 1" at the bottom (2) Non-existent - skipped over in the page numbering (3) Title page (4) Publisher's info (copyright, addresses, etc.) (5) Non-existent - skipped again (6) More publisher's info (more addresses) (7) Book's introduction (8) Intro continued (9) - non-existent - skipped again (10) Finish of the intro (11) The title and 3 lines of a fish entry, consisting of "Leopard Shark - Stegostoma fasciatum. Family: Stegostomatidae. The Leopard Shark is distinguished by a whisker or 'barbel' at each corner oft he mouth, prominent ridges on the side. . . ." That's it. Really? So, not only did you give me almost no meaningful content by which to judge the book, you didn't even really give me 11 pages? Since I didn't get an opportunity to see a full entry, I won't chance buying this book. If someone else takes the plunge, please post a review and let us know how it really is. Thanks!
