But can Dar overcome years of habit and conditioning to open herself up to the uncertainty of love? And will Kerry escape from the clutches of her powerful father in order to live a better life?

I'm a weirdo. I know I am, but I'm now reading this book for the 9th time in paperback form. Not sure how many times I read the online version. This entire series is amazing. I can absolutely picture in my head what's going on and I can "see" everything so clearly in Melissa Good's descriptions. Such strong women characters.

I just love this series. I've just discovered Melissa Good and this series and I think ( actually I know) I'm addicted. The romance is great but more than that, the author's description of some of the situations at work is so realistic - So corporate America. I love books with strong, intellingent, smart women characters, and this series delivers.
