Meet the Author

Gabe was born on July 24th, 1978 in Greeley, Colorado. When he was 8 years old, Gabe moved to San Diego, California. He spent much of his time in SoCal hanging out on the beach and eating fish tacos. In high school, Gabe loved two things: playing football and reading comic books. He was pretty good at football, but nothing could compare with his love of comics and illustration. After a chance encounter with a professional illustrator, Gabe began to realize his dream of drawing comics for a living. Gabe has since worked on a wide variety of books for DC Comics as a colorist and illustrator.

Born in Chicago, Art Baltazar found his way early to comic book art and has been cartooning ever since he can recall. With a frenetic, hip hop style, Baltazar began self-publishing in 1994 with such titles as The Cray-Baby Adventures, Gyro-Man, Captain Camel & the Space Chicken, Jimmy Dydo, Lunar Lizard, Meteor Mite and the famous Patrick the Wolf Boy. Art has also drawn coloring books for Warner Bros. Art recently finished work on SUPERMAN FAMILY ADVENTURES, and is now co-writing the new series THE GREEN TEAM: TEEN TRILLIONAIRES. Art lives outside of Chicago with his wife, Rose, and children Sonny, Gordon, and Audrey.

Eisner award-winning writer and artist Franco Aureliani has been drawing comics since he could hold a crayon. Currently residing in upstate New York with his wife, Ivette and son, Nicolas, he spends most of his days in his Batcave-like studio where he works on comics projects. In 1995, Franco founded Blindwolf Studios, an independent art studio where he and fellow creators can create children’s comics. Franco is the creator, artist and writer of Weirdsville, L’il Creeps, and Eagle All Star, as well as the co-creator and writer of Patrick the Wolf Boy. Franco recently finished work on Superman Family Adventures, and is now co-writing the new series The Green Team: Teen Trillionaires. When he’s not writing and drawing, Franco also teaches high school art.

Dario Brizuela was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and as a teen he began studying in an art school—doing drawing, sculpture, painting, and more. After discovering superhero comic books, his goal was draw his favorite characters. He broke into comics by working for publishers like Dark Horse Comics, Image, Mirage Studios, IDW, Titan publishing, Soleil Productions, Viz Media, Little, Brown and Company, DC Comics, and Marvel Comics, and for companies like Hasbro and Lego. His comic book and illustration work in the U.S. and Europe includes: Star Wars Tales, Dioramas, Ben 10, Super Friends, Justice League Unlimited, Voltron Force, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Transfomers, Mini Hulks, Gormiti, Superhero Squad, Scooby Doo, and Beware The Batman.
