I love Fate Harbor and the people who live there. It is a community that supports multiple spouse marriage and everyone supports and looks after each other. For this book we have the story of Sam, Chance and Josie. All three have the common bond of being foster children in the home of Betty and Butch. Josie and Sam were sent back to their parents and Chance stayed with the foster family till he was 18 but each bonded as children. Chance was taken care of by Josie as children; he could get her to do anything with his puppy eyes. She had returned to her mother by the time Sam got there. Sam and Chance had bonded as brothers even though Sam had to leave multiple times only to be disappointed and abused by his mother and returned to foster care. Sam has endured many tours of duty during the war and returned back to Fate Harbor with PTSD and some health issues. Chance is taking care of him the best he can when news comes from Betty that she has been in contact with Josie. Betty has some ideas that Josie could be exactly what her two boys need in life, but will Josie agree? After watching Betty be taken advantage of by other people for her money, Chance wasn’t trusting of Josie, who he used to call Zee so he researched and found she had single handedly raised her twin younger sisters and her reputation was pure. Now that her sisters have been awarded scholarships and are going off to college Betty is pushing Josie to come to Fate Harbor and open up the bakery she has always dreamed of having. After watching Josie and Betty talk on Skype Chance begins having his own wishes for when his Zee returns. Chance and Sam will have to teach Josie how to feel again and to allow others to care for her now With her business growing and meeting people who soon become friends, she hopes that she has finally found her home, back where she started. It won’t be easy for these three, with two being let down and damaged by the very person who was supposed to love them and Chance feeling the emptiness of his parent’s death, they are going to have to learn to trust each other as adults now with their minds, bodies and souls. I love how the author developed these characters and displayed their strengths and weaknesses. Josie had suffered a back injury while with her mother and suffers in pain, yet she doesn’t let it stop her from obtaining her dreams with extremely hard work. Josie has some issues with her body and beliefs that no man would want her even though she is a beautiful woman. Sam suffers from nightmares and PTSD yet when he is with Josie he is the alpha male who takes control and makes Josie see how beautiful she is. Chance is the nurturer to the two yet is also an alpha male who keeps Sam in line and helps Josie stop berating herself. Growing up in a stable home with Betty and Butch he doesn’t have the baggage that the other two do but he carries his own demons and pain. Where one of the three lacks or suffers that other two step up and fills the void and help build each other. I really love this series of Fate Harbor romances. She creates a community that makes the reader wish they could move there. She also keeps characters from other books involved in each book which I love. While this was the first book published, I have read another Fate Harbor book before this, proving that each book can be a standalone. The author writes with such a steady flow that the reading is easy and allows you to just drift away into the story and grow to love her characters as if they are friends. Josie was wounded but strong and found the right two men to prove to her just how worthy she was of love.  Sam was also wounded from war and childhood traumas so this relationship was the perfect plce for him to heal and grow and love.  Chance brought them all together and he was fun and perfect  I loved the humor the warmth the caring of this book.   The sex was unbelievably hot

After growing up way too soon and raising your sisters, what do you do with your life? Chance, who has never forgotten about Josie, knows exactly what she should do, and he will help her do it. Sam always knew that Chance would be there for him whenever he needed him. After being injured in the war, Chance proves that Sam was right. When Sam meets Josie, it just proved you just always trust Chance. Right from the beginning, Chase, Sam and Josie's relationship was as seductive as Josie's Cinnamon Rolls! I cannot wait for the next installment of Fate Habor!

When you read any author published by Siren, it’s fair to say that the stories will be HOT!!! But not only does Trusting Chance burn up the pages with copious amounts of smouldering between the sheets lovin’, it also delves deep into the emotional and physical wounds suffered by children at the hands of careless parents. All three of these exceptional people were once foster children in the home of Betty and Butch Hutchins, but unlike Chance, who stayed for the long haul after the death of his parents as a toddler; Josie and Sam were ripped from the loving arms of this wonderful couple and returned to their abusive parents. After many years of self-sacrifice and hard work, Josie has herded her twin sisters safely off the college and has now returned to Fate Harbor to start a new business. But little does Josie know that Chance has kept tabs on her through Betty, and the love of a little boy has flourished into the passion of a man. Sam is broken, and only through the brotherly support and love of Chance has he managed to survive the horrors of his past. Serving tours in war torn Afghanistan, has only added to Sam’s already battered opinion of himself and his conviction that he’s undeserving of happiness. While knowing that the task of bringing the two people he loves most into the world of ménage relationships and convincing them that a future between the three of them is possible is going to be a challenge; Chance is nothing if not determined, and he truly believes that Josie and Sam have the power to heal each other’s souls with him along to guide their hearts. Trusting Chance is a lovely start to a brand new series by the talented Ms O’Leary. I’m looking forward to book two…… Protecting Olivia.

"This is an awesome and touching book!"  The characters in this book are amazing and the story line is incredible! . Josie,Chance ,and Sam was was sent to the same foster home of Butch and Betty.    Chance ended up with Butch and Betty because his parents was killed in an auto accident. Josie and Sam ended up there due to abusive families. Josie did not live as long with Betty as Chance and Sam did But Chance fell in love with Josie as a small child. Josie ended up raising two younger sisters when her sisters went off to college Betty talks Josie into moving to the town Betty and Butch lives at now of  Fate Harbor. Chance ans Sam had already moved to Fate Harbor. When Chance found out Josie was moving there he set out to win her heart. Chance had an idea to make the family he had always wanted. But he will have to convince Josie and Sam that all three belong together Lol. Fate Harbor was the perfect place to do this as it was not unusual to find Menage relationships there :) . Chance goes out of town on business at the time Sam meets Josie at a Yoga class. Sam was told by Doctors to take the class due to war injuries Sam had  received in the war. Josie was taking the classes due to injuries  received when her mother had shoved her down a flight of stairs at the age of 13 after her mother had got Josie back from foster care. Soon Sam knows he is falling fast for Josie.    Chance finds out about Josie and Sam meeting and sets out to make his dream come true. Josie can not believe that two really hot guys want her due to past and her being a plus size gal. Can Chance and Sam convince Josie she is beautiful to them just the way she is? . Can Chance and Josie heal  Sam mentally as he suffers from PTSD  and physically due to the war, so they all can be together? . as you read this book you will be caught up in Chance,Josie's and Sam's lives lol . It is the kind of book you can not put down ! Caitlyn O'Leary is such a fantastic writer that I want all her books ! You must read this book you will not be disappointed!
