Lengthy read and oftentimes repetitve, yet I learned a lot and it is an appropriate time to read it given what's going on in the world today. Highly recommed it!!

When I saw the title I was hoping for the truth, but didn't really find it here. The book is completely one sided, and I have found many of the analogies used in this book are also used in THE NEW LION OF DAMASCUS. One of which was comparing the Assad family to the Corleone family from the Godfather movies. I wanted to stop reading this book after the first chapter, but I carried on and finished it out. If you would like to read this book buy it as well as the previous mentioned book. I didnt care for the presentation or some of the content that I wanted a source for that was not present, so I am not sure where it came from and can not check for myself.

A book about a sickening, depraved people who are hopeless. If you ever think they will change, you are being foolish. Syria is a combination of the Natzis, Communism and a dictatorship that has lasted for centuries. Their concept of the truth is laughable much like Iran!Their government reminds me of the Romans. Armed soldiers are not allowed in the city of Damascus much like armed Roman soldiers were not allowed in Rome. Bashar Assad fears his own people! They were the first Arabic nation to have Mein Kampf tranlated into Arabic. They worship Hitler.
