She's a liar. He knows the truth.

Teagan Walker gets around. Ask anyone-hell, ask her. She'll own it with a smile. But beneath that smile is a girl whose parents didn't want her. Whose grandparents raised her without affection. Whose struggle with a burning anger threatens to consume her, though she'd rather punch someone in the face than talk about it. With a new job looming, she's determined to work her way into a better life. When she meets the sexiest guy she's ever seen, she decides to kick it off with a bang. And she makes her move.

But he's got moves of his own, and before the night is out, he strips her of way more than she means to reveal-without removing of a single piece of clothing. That comes, too, of course. He's gotten under her skin like nobody before him, and what's the harm in one night with a sexy stranger? Exposed or not, she never has to see him again.

Except she does.

On Monday morning, they come face-to-face. He's the son of her new CEO-and her boss for the summer-and he threatens to bring her entire world crashing down, making her face every lie she's ever told.

Truth & Temptation is the third standalone novel in Riley Edgewood's Summer Love series.

I really enjoyed this book! The characters seemed real/genuine. Alec seems like the perfect man--every girl's fantasy man: hot, rich and super nice. Who wouldn't fall in love with him?? Can't wait to read the other stories in the stories!

Loved it! Couldn't put it down!

I really enjoyed this book. Both main characters were realistic, flawed individuals that I liked rotting for. I will definitely read more of this author's work.

I loved this story! I believe this was the best one out the three from the series (and that is saying a lot because the first two are sooo.... good). Teagan's story is intriguing alone, but it is the presence of Alec that gets Teagan to question who she is and what she wants. As a bonus, the author included many of the characters you love from the first two stories! I liked how it also took place during the events of "Surf and Surrender" (Book #2). Overall, great story and great series. I look forward to reading more from this author. (Maybe a Vera and/or a Gianna story of their own?!) I can't wait to find out!

I absolutely loved the whole Summer Love series. Alec and Teagan did not disappoint at all. I think I fell a little in love with Alec myself! The book was very well written and kept me interested the whole time. I am a sucker with cameos from previous characters from the series and they made their appearances. I would recommend this series to everyone!

Wonderful writing! Really love all the metaphors. Teagan drove me crazy sometimes, but I loved the rawness about what she struggles with.

307 pages. Quirky, interesting main char; the author did a descent job making me like her (good job!). I had fun reading about her relationship with her friends, her co-worker and her rather dominating hero char. I SO hated her grandparents, what fun! There was a bit too much head time but it was tolerable as the story moved along as a reasonable pace. There were times when I saw chances for interesting conflict that weren't taken which would have been more fun than the inside the char's head time. Still, it was an enjoyable read. and I wouldn't hesitate to read more from this author.

What an amzing read. I couldn't put it down. Loved Alec and Teagan's love story. Defying the odds to know love conquers all. I can't wait to read about everyone else I was introduced to in this book. Definitely an author I am keeping tabs on.

I started this book in July but started out disappointed after the first Chapter. This week I decided I had to finish it. Teagan starts out to be this uncalled for rude girl even though she has the best friends. While out celebrating her new job, she meets a guy. He takes her home and the next day finds out she isn't only her new boss but also the CEO's son as well. From there you go on this ride of the deeply misunderstood mind of Teagan. You find most of her anger comes from her depression to do with so many things in her life. So not only is she just learning to deal with her issues but she is walking into a whole new experience with Alec. I felt this book is an amazing love story and in the process you get to catch up a little with Cassidy and Gage (from the first book) and see a little where Vera (also from the first book) currently is. I am sorry it took me so long and I regret not finishing when I started this book because it truly is an amazing read!

Upon finishing, my initial reaction: This story completely took me by surprise--I was overcome with emotion and feelings at the depth and the style. Very impressive writing from the author. My Thoughts (full review): While I was still reading this book, I talked to others about how overcome I was with the book. When you read a synopsis, it gives you a decent idea of what to generally expect. The synopsis for this book was definitely spot on, but there was so much more below the surface that I was, as I said, overcome. With emotions, with how impressed I was with what the author wrote. Just everything. I will admit that straight off the bat, I didn't like Teagan. There was something about her that just didn't sit right with me. As the book progressed, I grew to like her, then love her. Teagan has this outward appearance that can grate at someone, but when you discover what lies beneath, you understand her fully. And then there's Alec--sweet, kind, thoughtful, passionate, loving. When they meet, they don't know that they'll be working together, so when they do find this out, they know it should change the dynamic of what their "relationship" was that one night. This, obviously, is going to be a problem because something is hanging in the air between them. Despite all the things Teagan does to sabotage herself, Alec shows amazing character by being willing to find out what causes her to act the way she does. Usually when someone is unlikeable, people aren't willing to be around them, much less try to be friends with them. But Alec was perceptive. I loved that about him. Teagan learns a lot about herself throughout the book and I enjoyed watching her grow and become a better person even though it was very difficult for her. Their friendship turned relationship blossomed in a precious way, often in a deliciously hot way, but still very sweet just the same. Truth & Temptation is a brilliantly written novel. I still can't get over how impressive the story is--from the perfectly flawed characters to the unexpected backstory. Everything unraveled in the best way possible. I loved the depth of the characters. I cheered for them, I cried with them, I believed in them. It was altogether just amazingly great. Riley Edgewood, I tip my hat to you. My Rating: Exceptional

Loved Teagan's story! Actually loved the whole series with Cassidy, Gage, Quinn and Sawyer. Can we please get Vera's story?

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Tegan's best friend is Cassady. Cassady's boyfriend is Gage. Vera is another friend. Cassady knows how messed up Tegan really is. Tegan starts a new job on Monday. She's going to work at Chambers and Brit, an equity firm. Tegan goes home with a man she calls Frank. She won't let him say his real name and says her name is Cindy. Tegan is in a messed up place in her life. Her grandparents don't treat her with any love. Her mom left her with them as a newborn, but she does have two loyal friends and Alec. She grew so much in this story that her character was absolutely awesome. Alec was a rich man, but he really didn't act like one. He was smart, kind, sweet, and loyal. He would help anyone he could. He had some things from his past, but with Tegan's help, he grew a lot also. He was a great character, as were others in the story. This book had an excellent plot and overall story. I highly recommend it.

Teagan Walker takes a chance with Alec Chambers and goes him with him on a Friday night. They do not know each others real names. Not until Monday morning when she has to tell him who she really is and hopefully keep her job as his assistant. She has never been honest with anyone the way she starts to be with him. When he lets her start over with a clean slate, they grow closer because they are honest and up front. Alec is still interested in her and reeling from her running away from him over the weekend. He proposes they give it a try. Teagan is not sure what to do. She has trust and self esteem issues that she can never get past. Suddenly with this new job and a man in her life, she wants to get over those hurdles. Can she learn he has her best interests at heart? Alec wants to reassure her he wants her just he way she is. He finds her attractive, charming, real, sexy and so much more. Can he convince her he knows the real her? Can he prove he can be trusted? Another great novel for this Summer Love series. Each one is so unique, but with a great OTP to root for! I found this story compelling and very honest. I loved the characters and the ability to see the development happening as I read. ***This ARC was given free from and its publishers for review purposes only.
