The last few months have been a rough road for Melissa. Her grades have slipped, her parents treat her like a prisoner, and her closest friends are too involved in their own lives to spend time with her. Desperate to escape her depressing funk, she starts spending more time with Layla, who introduces her to a new crowd...the wrong crowd. When Melissa starts to go down a dangerous path, can anyone get through to her before she does something she'll regret?

The Stories about Melissa series is a coming of age series that follows Melissa, her family, and her friends. Similar to Sweet Valley High, each book is novella length. There will be eight books in the series.

I couldn't wait to read this book.  Melissa's story took a turn I was waiting for.  I did not put this book down until I was finished.  This series is a must read for all young adults, as well as everyone else.  A great story about life's struggles, finding yourself, and perseverance through it all.

A good story. Did I enjoy this book: This book was like chatting with an old friend. We are once again allowed to peek into Melissa’s journal and see what has been going on in her life. She’s had some excitement and learned a few things as well. It was nice catching up with Melissa. Would I recommend it: If you read the first 3 books and you want to see what happens next, then yes, read TTYL. (I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.)
