Having read the overview and previous reviews I jumped right in. Yes, the two main characters jump into bed right away - so what? If anyone would really read - they'd see that the two main characters, Amadeus and Zara had been attracted to each other for years! So in this day in time people would do just what they did - seal their relationship. None of this playing games. Formatting? Not that big a deal - there have been changes to Nook since this book came out. I personally thought it was a well written book - and a true love story. It is so obvious how much in love Amadeus and Zara are. I'm hooked and will read the two other books in this series.

Tudor Rose is a thought provoking love story in a complicated world. Plain and simple. The book is well thought out and written and while the hero and heroine may jump right into sex - it is not done just for that - sex. It is written in the story line that the two main characters have had a long, smoldering desire for each other. Amadeus Tudor simply has had enough of hiding his feelings and take charge of the situation. Yes it is fast paced in places, but that sometimes can be good. It's certainly not boring. The ending is a cliff hanger that I never saw coming. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

I can't believe it took me so long to find these books! My musician boyfriend turned me on to all three of the series. While Tudor Rose is not perfect from a technical aspect, it did not keep me from enjoying one of the hottest couples I've ever come across in a book! Amadeus and Zara ROCK! The author creates a perfect setting with all the twists and turns one might find. The ending is a cliff hanger and had me wanting to know more. Perhaps the author could write a book in the series about how the couple first met - or put out another edition of this book! All in all a perfect rockin' romance!

This book is formatted horribly for the Nook. It is very hard on the eyes to read. The story idea is promising. However, the author took the cheap lazy way out and jumped immediately into a sex scene. Aside from that, the book is very simply written and does not hold the reader's attention. From the synopsis you expect mystery and a little tension and resistance between the characters. However, this book jumps immediately into bed and the main characters are crazy about each other. I recommend passing on this read, and finding a book that is worth the money.

I only got 8 pages into it and had to stop reading. The grammar is atrocious, and the author can't choose between writing in past and present tense. The characters had already had sex before I quit reading.
