About the Author

Larry Hood is a native of Hammond, Louisiana. A product of a broken home, a victim of a debilitating handicapp, Larry teaches English to at-risk young adults. Writing poety is his passion and free expression is the vehicle he uses to soothe a myriad of burdensome malady's in today's society--malady's that tear at his very soul. He currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife, Marie, and two lovely daughters, Nicole and Lori.
